4 T he Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

El Señor está por encima de todas las naciones; ¡su gloria sobrepasa las alturas de los cielos!

5 W ho is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,

6 W ho humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

El Señor levanta de la nada al pobre, y saca del muladar al pordiosero,

8 T hat he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

para darles a los dos un lugar entre los príncipes, entre los gobernantes de su pueblo.

9 H e maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

El Señor concede a la mujer estéril un hogar y la alegría de tener hijos. ¡Aleluya!
