1 B less the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

3 W ho forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

El Señor perdona todas tus maldades, y sana todas tus dolencias.

4 W ho redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

El Señor te rescata de la muerte, y te colma de favores y de su misericordia.

5 W ho satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

El Señor te sacia con los mejores alimentos para que renueves tus fuerzas, como el águila.

6 T he Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

El Señor imparte justicia y defiende a todos los que sufren por la violencia.

7 H e made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

Dio a conocer sus caminos a Moisés; los hijos de Israel vieron sus obras.

8 T he Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

El Señor es misericordioso y clemente; es lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia.

9 H e will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

No nos reprende todo el tiempo, ni tampoco para siempre nos guarda rencor.

10 H e hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

No nos ha tratado como merece nuestra maldad, Ni nos ha castigado como merecen nuestros pecados.

11 F or as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

Tan alta como los cielos sobre la tierra, es su misericordia con los que le honran.

12 A s far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Tan lejos como está el oriente del occidente, alejó de nosotros nuestras rebeliones.

13 L ike as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

El Señor se compadece de los que le honran con la misma compasión del padre por sus hijos,

14 F or he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

pues él sabe de qué estamos hechos; ¡él bien sabe que estamos hecho de polvo!

15 A s for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

Nuestros días son como la hierba: florecemos como las flores del campo,

16 F or the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

pero pasa el viento sobre nosotros y desaparecemos, sin dejar ninguna huella.

17 B ut the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

Pero el Señor es eternamente misericordioso; él les hace justicia a quienes le honran, y también a sus hijos y descendientes,

18 T o such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

a quienes cumplen con su pacto y no se olvidan de sus mandamientos, sino que los ponen en práctica.

19 T he Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

El Señor ha afirmado su trono en los cielos, y su reino domina sobre todos los reinos.

20 B less the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

¡Bendigan al Señor, ustedes, ángeles poderosos que cumplen sus órdenes y obedecen su voz!

21 B less ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

¡Bendigan al Señor todos sus ejércitos, todos ustedes, sus siervos, que cumplen su voluntad!

22 B less the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

¡Bendigan al Señor ustedes, sus criaturas, en todos los lugares de su dominio! ¡Bendice, alma mía, al Señor!
