1 F or, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

«En esos días, y llegado el momento, haré que Judá y Jerusalén vuelvan del cautiverio.

2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Entonces reuniré a todas las naciones, y las llevaré al valle de Josafat, y allí entraré en juicio con ellas, porque ellas esparcieron entre las naciones a mi pueblo Israel, y repartieron mi propia tierra,

3 A nd they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.

echaron suertes sobre mi pueblo, entregaron a los niños a cambio de una prostituta, y vendieron a las niñas a cambio de vino para emborracharse.

4 Y ea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;

»¿Qué tengo yo que ver con ustedes, Tiro y Sidón, y con todo el territorio de Filistea? ¿Acaso quieren vengarse de mí? Porque, si ustedes se vengan de mí, ¡muy pronto haré que su merecido recaiga sobre su cabeza!

5 B ecause ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:

Porque ustedes se llevaron mi plata y mi oro, y todas mis cosas bellas y hermosas, y las metieron en sus templos.

6 T he children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.

Además, a los hijos de Judá y de Jerusalén los vendieron a los griegos, para alejarlos de su tierra.

7 B ehold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:

Por eso yo los traeré de ese país donde los vendieron, y a ustedes le daré su merecido:

8 A nd I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.

venderé sus hijos y sus hijas a los hijos de Judá, y ellos los venderán a los sabeos, que son una nación lejana; porque yo, el Señor, lo he dicho.

9 P roclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

»¡Proclamen la guerra entre las naciones! ¡Despierten a los valientes y acérquense! ¡Vengan todos los hombres de guerra!

10 B eat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

¡Tomen sus azadones y sus hoces, y con ese metal hagan espadas y lanzas! ¡Que saque el débil fuerza de flaqueza!

11 A ssemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord.

Y ustedes todas, naciones vecinas, ¡júntense y vengan! ¡Reúnanse! Yo, el Señor, haré que tus fuertes acudan a este llamado.

12 L et the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

¡Que se despierten las naciones y suban al valle de Josafat! Yo voy a sentarme allí para juzgar a todas las naciones de alrededor.

13 P ut ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

¡Echen mano a la hoz, que la mies ya está madura! ¡Vengan acá, que el lagar está rebosante! ¡Llenen las cubas, que ya es demasiada la maldad de ellos!» Liberación de Judá

14 M ultitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

Son muchos los pueblos en el valle de la decisión, porque ya se acerca el día del Señor en el valle de la decisión.

15 T he sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

El sol y la luna se oscurecerán, y las estrellas opacarán su resplandor.

16 T he Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Desde Sión, el Señor lanzará un rugido; desde Jerusalén, dejará oír su voz. Los cielos y la tierra se estremecerán, pero el Señor será la esperanza de su pueblo y la fortaleza de los hijos de Israel.

17 S o shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

«Entonces sabrán ustedes que yo soy el Señor su Dios, y que habito en Sión, mi santo monte. Jerusalén será una ciudad santa, y ningún extraños volverá a pasar por ella.»

18 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

Cuando llegue ese momento, los montes destilarán mosto, por las colinas fluirá leche, y por todos los arroyos de Judá correrán aguas. En la casa del Señor brotará un manantial, que regará el valle de Sitín.

19 E gypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

Por causa de la injuria inferida a los hijos de Judá, Egipto será destruido, y Edom quedará hecho un desierto desolado, pues en su tierra derramaron sangre inocente.

20 B ut Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

Pero Judá será habitada para siempre, lo mismo que Jerusalén por todas las generaciones.

21 F or I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.

Y el Señor limpiará la sangre derramada, la cual no quedará sin castigo. Y el Señor habitará en Sión.
