1 A nd Jehovah said to Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh; for by a strong hand shall he let them go, and by a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

Jehová respondió a Moisés: Ahora verás lo que yo haré a Faraón; porque bajo mano fuerte tendrá que dejarles ir, y bajo mano fuerte los echará de su tierra. Nuevo relato de la vocación de Moisés

2 A nd God spoke to Moses, and said to him, I am Jehovah.

Habló todavía Dios a Moisés, y le dijo: Yo soy JEHOVÁ.

3 A nd I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as the Almighty God; but by my name Jehovah I was not made known to them.

Y aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Omnipotente, mas en mi nombre JEHOVÁ no me di a conocer a ellos.

4 A nd I established also my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were sojourners.

También establecí mi pacto con ellos, de darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra en que fueron forasteros, y en la cual habitaron.

5 A nd I have heard also the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians have forced to serve, and I have remembered my covenant.

Asimismo yo he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, a quienes hacen servir los egipcios, y me he acordado de mi pacto.

6 T herefore say unto the children of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their service, and I will redeem you with a stretched-out arm, and with great judgments.

Por tanto, dirás a los hijos de Israel: Yo soy JEHOVÁ; y yo os sacaré de debajo de las tareas pesadas de Egipto, y os libraré de su servidumbre, y os redimiré con brazo extendido, y con juicios grandes;

7 A nd I will take you to me for a people, and will be your God; and ye shall know that I, Jehovah your God, am he who bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

y os tomaré por mi pueblo y seré vuestro Dios; y vosotros sabréis que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, que os sacó de debajo de las tareas pesadas de Egipto.

8 A nd I will bring you into the land concerning which I swore to give it unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; and I will give it you for a possession: I am Jehovah.

Y os meteré en la tierra por la cual alcé mi mano jurando que la daría a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob; y yo os la daré por heredad. Yo JEHOVÁ.

9 A nd Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel; but they did not listen to Moses from anguish of spirit, and from hard service.

De esta manera habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel; pero ellos no escuchaban a Moisés a causa de la congoja de espíritu, y de la dura servidumbre.

10 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

11 G o in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

Entra y habla a Faraón rey de Egipto, que deje ir de su tierra a los hijos de Israel.

12 A nd Moses spoke before Jehovah, saying, Lo, the children of Israel do not hearken to me: how then should Pharaoh hearken to me, to me of uncircumcised lips?

Y respondió Moisés delante de Jehová: He aquí, los hijos de Israel no me escuchan; ¿cómo, pues, me escuchará Faraón, siendo yo torpe de palabra?

13 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a commandment to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

Entonces Jehová habló a Moisés y a Aarón y les dio mandamiento para los hijos de Israel, y para Faraón rey de Egipto, para que sacasen a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto. Genealogías de Moisés y Aarón

14 T hese are the heads of their fathers' houses: the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Enoch and Phallu, Hezron and Carmi: these are the families of Reuben.

Estos son los jefes de las familias de sus padres: Los hijos de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel: Hanoc, Falú, Hesrón y Carmí; estas son las familias de Rubén.

15 — And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Saul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.

Los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Sóhar, y Saúl hijo de una cananea. Estas son las familias de Simeón.

16 A nd these are the names of the sons of Levi, according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were a hundred and thirty-seven years.

Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví por sus linajes: Gersón, Coat y Merarí. Y los años de la vida de Leví fueron ciento treinta y siete años.

17 T he sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.

Los hijos de Gersón: Libní y Simeí, por sus familias.

18 A nd the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Jizhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred and thirty-three years.

Y los hijos de Coat: Amram, lzhar, Hebrón y Uziel. Y los años de la vida de Coat fueron ciento treinta y tres años.

19 A nd the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.

Y los hijos de Merarí: Mahlí y Musí. Estas son las familias de Leví por sus linajes.

20 A nd Amram took Jochebed his aunt as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty-seven years.

Y Amram tomó por mujer a Joquebed su tía, la cual dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés. Y los años de la vida de Amram fueron ciento treinta y siete años.

21 A nd the sons of Jizhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zicri.

Los hijos de Izhar: Coré, Néfeg y Zicrí.

22 A nd the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

Y los hijos de Uziel: Misael, Elzafán y Sitrí.

23 A nd Aaron took Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, as wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

Y tomó Aarón por mujer a Eliseba hija de Aminadab, hermana de Nahsón; la cual dio a luz a Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

24 A nd the sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korahites.

Los hijos de Coré: Asir, Elcaná y Abiasaf. Estas son las familias de los coraítas.

25 A nd Eleazar Aaron's son took of the daughters of Putiel as wife; and she bore him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

Y Eleazar hijo de Aarón tomó para sí mujer de las hijas de Putiel, la cual dio a luz a Pinhás. Y estos son los jefes de los padres de los levitas por sus familias.

26 T his is that Aaron and Moses, to whom Jehovah said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.

Estos son aquel Aarón y aquel Moisés, a los cuales Jehová dijo: Sacad a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos.

27 T hese are they who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: this is that Moses and Aaron.

Estos son los que hablaron a Faraón rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel. Moisés y Aarón fueron éstos.

28 A nd it came to pass on the day when Jehovah spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,

Cuando Jehová habló a Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,

29 t hat Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, I am Jehovah: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.

entonces Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo: Yo soy JEHOVÁ; di a Faraón rey de Egipto todas las cosas que yo te digo a ti.

30 A nd Moses said before Jehovah, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how will Pharaoh hearken unto me?

Y Moisés respondió delante de Jehová: He aquí, yo soy torpe de palabra; ¿cómo, pues, me ha de oír Faraón?
