1 T hus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him—and I will loose the loins of kings; to open before him the two-leaved doors, and the gates shall not be shut:

Así dice Jehová a su ungido, a Ciro, al cual tomé yo por su mano derecha, para sujetar naciones delante de él y desatar lomos de reyes; para abrir delante de él las puertas, y las puertas no se cerrarán:

2 I will go before thee, and make the elevated places plain; I will break in pieces the brazen doors, and cut asunder the bars of iron;

Yo iré delante de ti, y enderezaré los lugares torcidos; quebrantaré las puertas de bronce, y haré pedazos los cerrojos de hierro;

3 a nd I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places; that thou mayest know that I, Jehovah, who call thee by name, the God of Israel.

y te daré los tesoros escondidos, y los secretos muy guardados, para que sepas que yo soy Jehová, el Dios de Israel, que te llamo por tu nombre.

4 F or Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have called thee by thy name; I surnamed thee, though thou didst not know me;

Por amor de mi siervo Jacob, y de Israel mi escogido, te llamé por tu nombre; te puse sobrenombre, aunque no me conociste.

5 I Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me;

Yo soy Jehová, y ninguno más hay; no hay Dios fuera de mí. Yo te ceñí, aunque tú no me conociste,

6 — that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the going down, that there is none beside me. I Jehovah, and there is none else;

para que se sepa desde el nacimiento del sol, y hasta donde se pone, que no hay más que yo; yo soy Jehová, y ninguno más que yo,

7 f orming the light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil: I, Jehovah, do all these things.

que formo la luz y creo las tinieblas, que hago la paz y creo la adversidad. Yo soy Jehová, el que hago todo esto. Jehová el Creador

8 D rop down, heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and with it let righteousness spring up. I, Jehovah, have created it.

Rociad, cielos, de arriba, y las nubes destilen la justicia; ábrase la tierra, y prodúzcase la salvación y hágase brotar juntamente con la justicia. Yo, Jehová, lo he creado.

9 W oe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let a potsherd with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that formeth it, What makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands?

¡Ay del que pleitea con su Hacedor, como el tiesto con los tiestos de la tierra! ¿Dirá el barro al que lo labra: Qué haces?; ¿o: Tu obra no está hecha con destreza?

10 W oe unto him that saith unto father, What begettest thou? Or to mother, What hast thou brought forth?

¡Ay del que dice a su padre: ¿Por qué engendraste?; y a una mujer: ¿Por qué diste a luz?!

11 T hus saith Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command ye me.

Así dice Jehová, el Santo de Israel, y su Formador: Preguntadme de las cosas por venir; mandadme acerca de mis hijos, y acerca de la obra de mis manos.

12 I t is I that have made the earth, and created man upon it; it is I, my hands, that have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Yo, sí, yo hice la tierra, y creé sobre ella al hombre. Yo, mis manos, extendieron los cielos, y mandé a todo su ejército.

13 I t is I that have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith Jehovah of hosts.

Yo lo suscité en justicia, y enderezaré todos sus caminos; él edificará mi ciudad, y soltará mis deportados, no por precio ni por dones, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

14 T hus saith Jehovah: The wealth of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall walk after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall bow down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, no other God. …

Así dice Jehová: El trabajo de Egipto, las mercaderías de Etiopía, y de los sabeos, hombres de elevada estatura, se pasarán a ti y serán tuyos; irán en pos de ti, pasarán encadenados; te harán reverencia y te suplicarán diciendo: Ciertamente en ti está Dios, y no hay ningún otro; no hay otro Dios.

15 V erily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. …

Verdaderamente tú eres un Dios que te encubres, oh Dios de Israel, que salvas.

16 T hey shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them; they shall go away in confusion together, the makers of idols.

Confusos y avergonzados serán todos ellos; serán cubiertos de oprobio todos juntos los fabricadores de imágenes.

17 I srael shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded, unto the ages of ages.

Israel será salvo por Jehová con salvación eterna; no os avergonzaréis ni quedaréis afrentados, por todos los siglos.

18 F or thus saith Jehovah who created the heavens, God himself who formed the earth and made it, he who established it,—not as waste did he create it: he formed it to be inhabited:—I Jehovah, and there is none else.

Porque así dijo Jehová, que creó los cielos; él es Dios, el que formó la tierra, el que la hizo y la compuso; no la creó en vano; la creó para que fuese habitada: Yo soy Jehová, y no hay otro.

19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I Jehovah, speaking righteousness, declaring things which are right.

No hablé en secreto, en un lugar oscuro de la tierra; no dije a la descendencia de Jacob: En vano me buscáis. Yo soy Jehová que hablo justicia, que anuncio rectitud. Jehová y los ídolos de Babilonia

20 G ather yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations. They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.

Reuníos, y venid; juntaos todos los sobrevivientes de entre las naciones. No tienen conocimiento aquellos que erigen sus ídolos de madera, los que ruegan a un dios que no salva.

21 D eclare and bring near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath caused this to be heard from ancient time? hath declared it long ago? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour, there is none besides me.

Proclamad, y hacedlos acercarse, y entren todos en consulta; ¿quién hizo oír esto desde el principio, y lo tiene dicho desde entonces, sino yo Jehová? Y no hay más Dios que yo; un Dios justo y Salvador; ningún otro hay fuera de mí.

22 L ook unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I God, and there is none else.

Miradme a mí, y sed salvos, todos los confines de la tierra, porque yo soy Dios, y no hay más.

23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth righteousness and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Por mí mismo hice juramento, de mi boca salió palabra en justicia, y no será revocada: Que a mí se doblará toda rodilla, y jurará toda lengua.

24 O nly in Jehovah, shall one say, have I righteousness and strength. To him shall come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

Y se dirá de mí: Ciertamente en Jehová está la victoria y la fuerza; a él vendrán avergonzados todos los que contra él se enardecen.

25 I n Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

En Jehová será justificada y se gloriará toda la descendencia de Israel.
