1 O God, the nations are come into thine inheritance: thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.

Oh Dios, los gentiles han invadido tu heredad; Han profanado tu santo templo; Redujeron a Jerusalén a escombros.

2 T he dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowl of the heavens, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth:

Dieron los cuerpos de tus siervos por comida a las aves de los cielos, La carne de tus santos a las bestias de la tierra.

3 T heir blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem, and there was none to bury.

Derramaron su sangre como agua en los alrededores de Jerusalén, Y no hubo quien los enterrase.

4 W e are become a reproach to our neighbours, a mockery and a derision to them that are round about us.

Somos escarnecidos por nuestros vecinos, Escarnecidos y burlados de los que están en nuestros alrededores.

5 H ow long, O Jehovah? wilt thou be angry for ever? Shall thy jealousy burn like fire?

¿Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová? ¿Estarás airado para siempre? ¿Arderá como fuego tu celo?

6 P our out thy fury upon the nations that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name:

Derrama tu ira sobre las naciones que no te conocen, Y sobre los reinos que no invocan tu nombre.

7 F or they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his habitation.

Porque han consumido a Jacob, Y su morada han asolado.

8 R emember not against us the iniquities of forefathers; let thy tender mercies speedily come to meet us: for we are brought very low.

No recuerdes contra nosotros las iniquidades de nuestros antepasados; Vengan pronto tus misericordias a encontrarnos, Porque estamos muy abatidos.

9 H elp us, O God of our salvation, because of the glory of thy name; and deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name's sake.

Ayúdanos, oh Dios de nuestra salvación, por la gloria de tu nombre; Y líbranos, y perdona nuestros pecados por amor de tu nombre.

10 W herefore should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants that is shed be known among the nations in our sight.

¿Por qué han de decir los gentiles: Dónde está su Dios? Sea notoria en las gentes, delante de nuestros ojos, La venganza de la sangre de tus siervos que fue derramada.

11 L et the groaning of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thine arm, preserve those that are appointed to die;

Llegue delante de ti el gemido de los cautivos; Conforme a la grandeza de tu brazo preserva a los sentenciados a muerte,

12 A nd render unto our neighbours, sevenfold into their bosom, their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.

Y haz recaer sobre nuestros vecinos en su seno siete veces más De su infamia, con que te han deshonrado, oh Jehová.

13 A nd we, thy people and the sheep of thy pasture, will give thanks unto thee for ever; we will shew forth thy praise from generation to generation.

Y nosotros, pueblo tuyo, y ovejas de tu prado, Te alabaremos para siempre; De generación en generación cantaremos tus alabanzas.
