1 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.

Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, ponte sobre tus pies, y hablaré contigo.

2 A nd the Spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me, and set me upon my feet; and I heard him that spoke unto me.

Y luego que me habló, entró el espíritu en mí y me asentó sobre mis pies, y oí al que me hablaba.

3 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to nations that are rebellious, which have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me unto this very day;

Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, yo te envío a los hijos de Israel, a gentes rebeldes que se rebelaron contra mí; ellos y sus padres han pecado contra mí hasta este mismo día;

4 a nd these children are impudent and hard-hearted: I am sending thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah.

y los hijos tienen la cara dura y el corazón empedernido; yo te envío a ellos, y les dirás: Así dice el Señor Jehová.

5 A nd they, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear—for they are a rebellious house—yet shall they know that there hath been a prophet among them.

Acaso ellos escuchen; pero si no escuchan, porque son una casa rebelde, siempre conocerán que ha habido profeta entre ellos.

6 A nd thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, and be not afraid of their words; for briars and thorns are with thee, and thou dwellest among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, and be not dismayed at their faces; for they are a rebellious house.

Y tú, hijo de hombre, no les temas, ni tengas miedo de sus palabras, aunque te hallas entre zarzas y espinos, y moras con escorpiones; no tengas miedo de sus palabras, ni temas delante de ellos, porque son casa rebelde.

7 A nd thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear; for they are rebellious.

Les hablarás, pues, mis palabras, escuchen o dejen de escuchar; porque son muy rebeldes.

8 A nd thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

Mas tú, hijo de hombre, oye lo que yo te hablo; no seas rebelde como esa casa rebelde; abre la boca, y come lo que te doy.

9 A nd I looked, and behold, a hand was put forth toward me; and behold, a roll of a book therein.

Y miré, y he aquí una mano extendida hacia mí, y en ella había un rollo de libro.

10 A nd he spread it out before me; and it was written within and without; and there were written in it lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

Y lo extendió delante de mí, y estaba escrito por delante y por detrás; y había escritas en él lamentaciones, endechas y ayes.
