1 H ear my prayer, O Lord, Give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, And in Your righteousness.

Señor, escucha mi oración atiende a mi súplica. Tú eres justo y fiel; ¡respóndeme!

2 D o not enter into judgment with Your servant, For in Your sight no one living is righteous.

Pero no me juzgues con dureza, pues ante ti nadie puede justificarse.

3 F or the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in darkness, Like those who have long been dead.

Mi enemigo me ha perseguido con saña; ha puesto mi vida por los suelos. Me hace vivir en tinieblas, como los muertos.

4 T herefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is distressed.

Mi espíritu está totalmente deprimido; tengo el corazón totalmente deshecho.

5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands.

Cuando evoco los días de antaño, y me acuerdo de tus grandes proezas y pienso en todo lo que has hecho,

6 I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah

elevo mis manos hacia ti, pues tengo sed de ti. ¡Soy como tierra seca!

7 A nswer me speedily, O Lord; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.

Señor, ¡respóndeme, que mi espíritu se apaga! ¡No te escondas de mí, o seré contado entre los muertos!

8 C ause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.

Muéstrame tu misericordia por la mañana, porque en ti he puesto mi confianza. Muéstrame el camino que debo seguir, porque en tus manos he puesto mi vida.

9 D eliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; In You I take shelter.

Señor, líbrame de mis enemigos, pues tú eres mi refugio.

10 T each me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Tú eres mi Dios; enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, y que tu buen espíritu me guíe por caminos rectos.

11 R evive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

Señor, por tu nombre, vivifícame; por tu justicia, líbrame de la angustia;

12 I n Your mercy cut off my enemies, And destroy all those who afflict my soul; For I am Your servant.

por tu misericordia, acaba con mis enemigos; ¡destruye a los que atentan contra mi vida, porque yo soy tu siervo!
