1 “ In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

»Cuando llegue el momento, se abrirá un manantial para que la casa de David y los habitantes de Jerusalén se purifiquen de su pecado y de su impureza.

»Cuando llegue ese día, borraré de la tierra los nombres de los ídolos, y nunca más serán recordados. Además, acabaré por completo con los profetas y con el espíritu de impureza. —Palabra del Señor de los ejércitos.

»Cuando llegue el momento, sucederá que todos los profetas se avergonzarán de sus visiones y profecías, y nunca más volverán a ponerse vestidos de piel para engañar.

8 A nd it shall come to pass in all the land,” Says the Lord, “ That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one –third shall be left in it:

»Sucederá entonces que en toda la tierra las dos terceras partes serán destruidas, y se perderán; pero la tercera parte quedará con vida. —Palabra del Señor.

9 I will bring the one –third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

»Entonces echaré al fuego esa tercera parte, y los fundiré como se funde la plata; ¡los probaré como se prueba el oro! Ellos invocarán mi nombre, y yo les responderé con estas palabras: “Ustedes son mi pueblo”, y ellos me dirán: “El Señor es nuestro Dios.”»
