I will sing of lovingkindness and justice, To You, O Lord, I will sing praises.

2 J e prendrai garde à la voie droite. Quand viendras-tu à moi? Je marcherai dans l'intégrité de mon coeur, Au milieu de ma maison.

I will give heed to the blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

3 J e ne mettrai rien de mauvais devant mes yeux; Je hais la conduite des pécheurs; Elle ne s'attachera point à moi.

I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not fasten its grip on me.

4 L e coeur pervers s'éloignera de moi; Je ne veux pas connaître le méchant.

A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil.

5 C elui qui calomnie en secret son prochain, je l'anéantirai; Celui qui a des regards hautains et un coeur enflé, je ne le supporterai pas.

Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; No one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart will I endure.

6 J 'aurai les yeux sur les fidèles du pays, Pour qu'ils demeurent auprès de moi; Celui qui marche dans une voie intègre sera mon serviteur.

My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He who walks in a blameless way is the one who will minister to me.

7 C elui qui se livre à la fraude n'habitera pas dans ma maison; Celui qui dit des mensonges ne subsistera pas en ma présence.

He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me.

8 C haque matin j'anéantirai tous les méchants du pays, Afin d'exterminer de la ville de l'Éternel Tous ceux qui commettent l'iniquité.

Every morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, So as to cut off from the city of the Lord all those who do iniquity.
