Now let those who fear Yahweh say that his loving kindness endures forever.

5 N a minha angústia clamei ao Senhor; e o Senhor me respondeu, dando-me ampla liberdade.

Out of my distress, I called on Yah. Yah answered me with freedom.

6 O Senhor está comigo, não temerei. O que me podem fazer os homens?

Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

7 O Senhor está comigo; ele é o meu ajudador. Verei a derrota dos meus inimigos.

Yahweh is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.

8 É melhor buscar refúgio no Senhor do que confiar nos homens.

It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man.

9 É melhor buscar refúgio no Senhor do que confiar em príncipes.

It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes.

10 T odas as nações me cercaram, mas em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei.

All the nations surrounded me, but in Yahweh’s name, I cut them off.

11 C ercaram-me por todos os lados, mas em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei.

They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In Yahweh’s name I indeed cut them off.

12 C ercaram-me como um enxame de abelhas, mas logo se extinguiram como espinheiros em chamas. Em nome do Senhor eu as derrotei!

They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In Yahweh’s name I cut them off.

13 E mpurraram-me para forçar a minha queda, mas o Senhor me ajudou.

You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but Yahweh helped me.

14 O Senhor é a minha força e o meu cântico; ele é a minha salvação.

Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.

15 A legres brados de vitória ressoam nas tendas dos justos: “A mão direita do Senhor age com poder!

The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous. “The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.

16 A mão direita do Senhor é exaltada! A mão direita do Senhor age com poder!”

The right hand of Yahweh is exalted! The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly!”

17 N ão morrerei; mas vivo ficarei para anunciar os feitos do Senhor.

I will not die, but live, and declare Yah’s works.

18 O Senhor me castigou com severidade, mas não me entregou à morte.

Yah has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death.

19 A bram as portas da justiça para mim, pois quero entrar para dar graças ao Senhor.

Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to Yah.

20 E sta é a porta do Senhor, pela qual entram os justos.

This is the gate of Yahweh; the righteous will enter into it.

21 D ou-te graças, porque me respondeste e foste a minha salvação.

I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation.

22 A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram tornou-se a pedra angular.

The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

23 I sso vem do Senhor, e é algo maravilhoso para nós.

This is Yahweh’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.

24 E ste é o dia em que o Senhor agiu; alegremo-nos e exultemos neste dia.

This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!

25 S alva-nos, Senhor! Nós imploramos. Faze-nos prosperar, Senhor! Nós suplicamos.

Save us now, we beg you, Yahweh! Yahweh, we beg you, send prosperity now.

26 B endito é o que vem em nome do Senhor. Da casa do Senhor nós os abençoamos.

Blessed is he who comes in Yahweh’s name! We have blessed you out of Yahweh’s house.

27 O Senhor é Deus, e ele fez resplandecer sobre nós a sua luz. Juntem-se ao cortejo festivo, levando ramos até as pontas do altar.

Yahweh is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

28 T u és o meu Deus; graças te darei! Ó meu Deus, eu te exaltarei!

You are my God, and I will give thanks to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.
