1 M oreover, when you shall divide the land by apportioned and assigned lots for inheritance, you shall set apart as an offering to the Lord a portion of the land to be used for holy purposes. The length shall be 25, 000 cubits, and the breadth 20, 000. It shall be holy (set apart and consecrated to sacred use) in its every area.

Cînd veţi împărţi ţara ca moştenire prin sorţ, să ridicaţi ca dar sfînt pentru Domnul o bucată din ţară, lungă de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi şi lată de zece mii: aceasta va fi sfîntă în toată întinderea ei.

2 O f this there shall belong to the sanctuary a square plot 500 by 500, and 50 cubits for the open space around it.

Din bucata aceasta veţi lua pentru sfîntul Locaş cinci sute de coţi în lung şi cinci sute de coţi în lat, în patru laturi; şi cinci zeci de coţi ca loc slobod de jur împrejur.

3 A nd in this sacred section you shall measure off a portion 25, 000 cubits in length and 10, 000 cubits in breadth. And in it shall be the sanctuary which is most holy.

Din această întindere să măsori o bucată lungă de douăzeci şi cinci de mii şi lată de zece mii, pentru sfîntul Locaş, pentru Locul prea sfînt.

4 I t is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to the Lord; and it shall be a place for their houses and a holy place (set apart as sacred) for the sanctuary.

Aceasta este partea sfîntă din ţară: ea va fi a preoţilor cari fac slujba în sfîntul Locaş, cari se apropie de Domnul să -I slujească; acolo vor fi casele lor, şi acesta va fi un loc sfînt pentru Locaşul cel sfînt.

5 A nd another portion of land, 25, 000 cubits long and 10, 000 cubits wide, shall also be for the Levites, the ministers of the temple, and they shall possess it as a place in which to live.

Leviţilor, cari slujesc în casă, să li se dea în stăpînire un ţinut de douăzeci şi cinci de mii de coţi în lung şi zece mii în lat, pentru cetăţile în cari vor locui împreună cu douăzeci de odăi.

6 A nd you shall appoint for the possession of the city an area of 5, 000 cubits wide and 25, 000 cubits long, along beside the portion set aside as a holy section. It shall belong to the whole house of Israel.

Să daţi şi cetăţii o moşie de cinci mii de coţi în lat şi douăzeci şi cinci de mii în lung, lîngă partea cea sfîntă luată pentru sfîntul Locaş; aceasta va fi pentru toată casa lui Israel.

7 A nd to the prince shall belong the land on the one side and on the other side of the portion set aside as a holy section and the property of the city, in front of the holy section and the property of the city, from the west side westward and from the east side eastward; and the length shall be answerable to that of one of the tribal portions and parallel to it from the western boundary to the eastern boundary of the land.

Pentru domnitor veţi osebi un loc lîngă cele două laturi ale părţii sfinte şi ale moşiei cetăţii, dealungul părţii sfinte şi dealungul moşiei cetăţii, la apus de partea de apus şi la răsărit de partea de răsărit, pe o lungime cît una din părţi, dela hotarul de apus pînă la hotarul de răsărit.

8 I t shall be for the prince—his possession in Israel. And My princes shall no more oppress My people, but they shall give the rest of the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

9 T hus says the Lord God: That is enough for you, O princes of Israel! Stop the violence and plundering and oppression, and do justice and righteousness, and take away your exactions and cease your evictions of My people, says the Lord God.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu:,, Destul, domnitori ai lui Israel! Încetaţi cu sîlnicia şi răpirile, faceţi judecată şi dreptate! Înlăturaţi stoarcerile voastre dela poporul Meu, -zice Domnul Dumnezeu. -

10 Y ou shall have just weights on your scales and just measures—both a just ephah measure and a just bath measure.

Să aveţi cumpene drepte, o efă dreaptă, şi un bat drept.

11 T he ephah and the bath measures shall both be the same size, the bath containing one tenth of a homer and the ephah one tenth of a homer; the standard measure shall be the homer.

Efa şi batul să aibă aceeaş măsură; batul să cuprindă a zecea parte dintr'un omer, şi efa a zecea parte dintr'un omer; măsura lor se va potrivi după omer.

12 A nd the shekel shall be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels and twenty-five shekels and fifteen shekels shall be your maneh.

Siclul să fie de douăzeci de ghere. Cinci sicli să fie cinci, zece sicli să fie zece, iar mina să fie de cincizeci de sicli!

13 T his is the offering which you shall make: a sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat and a sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley.

Iată darul de mîncare pe care -l veţi ridica: a şasea parte dintr'o efă la un omer de grîu, şi a şasea parte din efă la un omer de orz.

14 A nd as to the set portion of oil, you shall offer the tenth part of a bath of oil out of each cor, which is a homer of ten baths, for ten baths make a homer.

Pentru untdelemn, la un bat de untdelemn, veţi datora a zecea parte dintr'un bat la un cor, care este tot una cu un omer de zece baţi, căci zece baţi fac un omer.

15 A nd one lamb out of every flock of two hundred, out of the well-watered pastures of Israel and from all the families of Israel, to provide for a meal offering and for a burnt offering and for peace offerings, to make atonement for those who brought them, says the Lord God.

O oaie dintr'o turmă de două sute de oi din toate seminţiile lui Israel, să fie dată ca dar de mîncare, ardere de tot şi jertfă de mulţămire, pentru ca să slujească drept jertfă de ispăşire, -zice Domnul Dumnezeu. -

16 A ll the people of the land shall give this offering for the prince in Israel.

Tot poporul din ţară va trebui să dea darul acesta de mîncare pentru domnitorul lui Israel.

17 A nd it shall be the prince’s part to furnish the burnt offerings, meal offerings, and drink offerings at the feasts and on the New Moons and on the Sabbaths, at all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel. He shall prepare and make the sin offering, the meal offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings to make atonement for, bringing forgiveness and reconciliation to, the house of Israel.

Domnitorul va fi dator să dea arderile de tot, darurile de mîncare şi jertfele de băutură la sărbători, la lunile noi, la Sabate, la toate adunările de sărbătoare ale casei lui Israel. El va îngriji de jertfa ispăşitoare, de darul de mîncare, de arderea de tot, şi de jerfa de mulţămire, ca să se facă ispăşire pentru casa lui Israel.``

18 T hus says the Lord God: In the first, on the first of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish and you shall cleanse the sanctuary.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu:,,În cea dintîi zi a lunii întîi, vei lua un viţel fără cusur, şi vei face ispăşire pentru sfîntul Locaş.

19 A nd the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it upon the doorposts of the temple and upon the four corners of the ledge of the altar and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.

Preotul va lua din sîngele jertfei ispăşitoare, şi va pune pe uşiorii casei, pe cele patru colţuri ale pervazului altarului, şi pe uşiorii porţii curţii dinlăuntru.

20 Y ou shall do this on the seventh day of the month for everyone who has sinned through error or ignorance and for him who is simple-minded. So shall you make atonement for the temple.

Tot aşa vei face şi în ziua întîi a lunii a şaptea, în ziua întîi a lunii noi, pentru cei din popor cari păcătuiesc fără voie sau din nechibzuinţă; şi astfel veţi curăţi casa.

21 I n the first month on the fourteenth day of the; you shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.

În ziua a patrusprezecea a lunii întîi, veţi prăznui Paştele. Sărbătoarea va ţinea şapte zile, în care timp se vor mînca azimi.

22 U pon that day the prince shall prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering.

Domnitorul va aduce în ziua aceea, pentru el şi pentru tot poporul ţării, un viţel ca jertfă de ispăşire.

23 A nd for the seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the Lord, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily for the seven days, and a he-goat daily for a sin offering.

În timpul celor şapte zile ale sărbătorii, va aduce ca ardere de tot Domnului, şapte viţei şi şapte berbeci fără cusur, în fiecare din cele şapte zile, şi un ţap ca jerfă de ispăşire în fiecare zi.

24 A nd he shall prepare as a meal offering to be offered with each bullock an ephah of meal, an ephah for each ram, and a hin of oil for each ephah of meal.

Va adăuga şi darul de mîncare: cîte o efă de fiecare viţel, şi o efă de fiecare berbece, cu cîte un hin de untdelemn de efă.

25 I n the seventh, on the fifteenth day of the month, he shall make the same provision and preparation for the seven days of the feast, for sin offerings, burnt offerings, bloodless or meal offerings, and for the oil.

În ziua a cincisprezecea a lunii a şaptea, la sărbătoare, va aduce timp de şapte zile aceleaşi jertfe de ispăşire, aceleaşi arderi de tot şi acelaş dar de mîncare împreună cu untdelemnul.``
