1 N ow concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

Теперь относительно сбора денег в помощь святым. Делайте то, что я повелел делать в церквах Галатии.

2 U pon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

В первый день недели пусть каждый из вас откладывает и сберегает столько денег, сколько позволяет вам ваш заработок, чтобы, когда я приду, уже не нужно было делать сборы.

3 A nd when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

А когда я приду, то тех людей, кого вы выберете, я пошлю с рекомендательными письмами, чтобы они доставили собранное вами в Иерусалим.

4 A nd if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.

А если будет необходимо и мне пойти туда, то они пойдут со мной. Планы путешествий

5 N ow I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.

Я приду к вам, когда пройду Македонию, так как я иду через Македонию.

6 A nd it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

Возможно, я пробуду у вас некоторое время, может быть, и всю зиму, и вы поможете мне в моем дальнейшем путешествии.

7 F or I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

Я решил не заходить к вам сейчас, так как это посещение было бы очень кратким. Надеюсь, что, если Господь позволит, мы проведем с вами больше времени.

8 B ut I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

В Эфесе я пробуду до Пятидесятницы,

9 F or a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

так как здесь передо мной широко открыта дверь для служения, хотя есть и много противников.

10 N ow if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

Если у вас будет Тимофей, позаботьтесь о том, чтобы ему нечего было опасаться у вас. Ведь он, как и я, совершает работу Господа.

11 L et no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

Пусть никто не пренебрегает им. А потом помогите ему с миром отправиться в путь, чтобы он смог возвратиться ко мне. Я жду его вместе с братьями.

12 A s touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.

Что же касается нашего брата Аполлоса, то я очень просил его прийти с братьями к вам. Он не хотел идти сейчас, но, когда будет возможно, он вас навестит.

13 W atch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

Прошу вас, бодрствуйте! Будьте непоколебимы в вере! Будьте мужественны, будьте сильны.

14 L et all your things be done with charity.

Пусть все у вас делается с любовью.

15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

И еще я прошу вас, братья: вы знаете, что Стефан и все живущие в его доме были первыми из уверовавших в Ахаии. Они посвятили себя служению святым –

16 t hat ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

будьте покорны таким людям и всем, кто содействует и служит.

17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

Я был очень рад, когда прибыли Стефан, Фортунат и Ахаик. Они дали мне то, чего мне недоставало без вас.

18 F or they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

Они ободрили и меня, и вас. Цените таких людей. Заключительные приветствия

19 T he churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

Вам передают приветы церкви в провинции Азия. Акила и Прискилла тоже горячо приветствуют вас в Господе, привет и от всей церкви, которая собирается в их доме.

20 A ll the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.

Все братья здесь передают вам приветы. Приветствуйте друг друга святым поцелуем.

21 T he salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.

Я, Павел, дописываю это приветствие своей рукой:

22 I f any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

если кто-либо не любит Господа, на том да будет проклятие. Марана та!

23 T he grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Пусть благодать Господа Иисуса Христа будет с вами.
