1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

– Я истинная виноградная лоза, а Мой Отец – виноградарь.

2 E very branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Он срезает на Мне каждую ветвь, не приносящую плода, а ветви, на которых есть плод, Он очищает, чтобы они еще больше плодоносили.

3 N ow ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Вы уже очищены благодаря слову, которое Я вам говорил.

4 A bide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Будьте во Мне, и Я буду в вас. Ветвь сама по себе плодов приносить не может, если не будет на лозе. Вы тоже не сможете приносить плод, если не будете во Мне.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Я лоза, а вы ветви. Кто находится во Мне, а Я в нем, приносит много плода. Без Меня вы не можете делать ничего.

6 I f a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Кто не пребывает во Мне, тот подобен ветке, что выброшена вон и засыхает. Такие ветки подбирают, бросают в огонь, и они сгорают.

7 I f ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Если вы будете во Мне и если Мои слова будут в вас, то все, о чем бы вы ни попросили, вы получите.

8 H erein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Если вы будете приносить богатый урожай и если вы будете Моими учениками, то Мой Отец будет прославлен.

9 A s the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Как Отец полюбил Меня, так Я полюбил вас: живите в Моей любви.

10 I f ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Если вы послушны Моим заповедям, то вы будете жить в Моей любви, как и Я послушен заповедям Моего Отца и живу в Его любви.

11 T hese things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Я говорю вам это, чтобы вы испытали Мою радость и чтобы ваша радость была полной.

12 T his is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Вот Моя заповедь: любите друг друга, как Я вас полюбил.

13 G reater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Никто не может любить больше, чем тот, кто отдает жизнь свою за друзей.

14 Y e are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Если вы делаете то, что Я вам повелеваю, то вы – Мои друзья.

15 H enceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Я больше не называю вас слугами, потому что слуга не знает, что делает его хозяин, но Я называю вас друзьями, потому что все, что Я услышал от Моего Отца, Я открыл вам.

16 Y e have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Вы Меня не выбирали, Я Сам вас выбрал и назначил, чтобы вы шли и приносили плод и чтобы ваш плод выдержал испытание временем; тогда Отец даст вам все, о чем бы вы ни попросили Его во Имя Мое.

17 T hese things I command you, that ye love one another.

Я заповедую вам это, чтобы вы любили друг друга. Иисус предупреждает о ненависти мира

18 I f the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

– Если мир вас ненавидит, помните, что сначала он возненавидел Меня.

19 I f ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Если бы вы принадлежали миру, то мир любил бы вас как своих. Но вы не принадлежите миру, потому что Я избрал вас из мира, поэтому мир вас и ненавидит.

20 R emember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Помните Мои слова: «Слуга не больше своего господина». Если преследовали Меня, то будут преследовать и вас. Если Моему слову повиновались, то будут повиноваться и вашему.

21 B ut all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Но ваши противники будут гнать вас из-за Моего Имени, потому что они не знают Того, Кто послал Меня.

22 I f I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

Если бы Я не пришел и не говорил им, то они не были бы виновны в грехе, но сейчас у них нет извинения в том, что они грешат.

23 H e that hateth me hateth my Father also.

Кто ненавидит Меня, тот ненавидит и Моего Отца.

24 I f I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

Если бы Я не делал среди них того, чего еще никто до Меня не делал, то они не были бы виновны в грехе. Но они видели Мои дела и все равно возненавидели Меня и Моего Отца.

25 B ut this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

В этом исполняется сказанное в их Законе: «Они возненавидели Меня без всякой причины».

26 B ut when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Когда придет Заступник – Дух истины, Которого Я пошлю к вам и Который исходит от Отца, Он будет свидетельствовать обо Мне.

27 a nd ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Вы тоже будете свидетельствовать, потому что вы были со Мной с самого начала.
