2 O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

Господи, я услышал весть о Тебе, и я устрашен Твоими делами. Господи, возобнови их в наши дни, яви их и в наши времена, и в гневе будь милостив.

3 G od came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

Бог пришел из Темана, Святой – от горы Паран. Пауза Небеса покрылись Его величием, и наполнилась земля Его славой.

4 A nd his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

Его сияние – как солнечный свет; лучи исходят из Его рук, где скрыта Его сила.

5 B efore him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.

Болезнь идет перед Ним, мор – по Его стопам.

6 H e stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

Он стал и сотряс землю; от Его взгляда затрепетали народы. Рушились вечные горы, исчезали древние холмы, но пути Его вечны.

7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.

Я видел кушанские шатры в беде, дома мадианитян в страданиях.

8 W as the Lord displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?

Разве Ты прогневался на реки, Господи? Разве Ты прогневался на потоки? Разве Ты прогневался на море, что воссел на Своих коней и на Свои победоносные колесницы.

9 T hy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.

Ты обнажил Свой лук и колчан наполнил стрелами. Пауза Ты рассек землю реками;

10 T he mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.

горы видели Тебя и содрогались. Обрушились потоки вод, бездна морская взревела и подняла свои волны ввысь.

11 T he sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

Солнце и луна застыли в небесах, когда увидели Твои сияющие стрелы и блеск Твоих сверкающих копий.

12 T hou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

Ты прошел по земле в гневе, и в ярости Ты уничтожил народы.

13 T hou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

Ты пришел, чтобы освободить Свой народ, спасти Своих избранных. Ты сразил главу дома беззакония, обнажив его с головы до пят. Пауза

14 T hou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

Его собственным копьем Ты пронзил ему голову, когда его воины, как вихрь, ринулись, чтобы разбить нас. Они торжествовали, словно те, кто тайком обкрадывает бедняка.

15 T hou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.

Ты со Своими конями проложил путь через море, вспенивая великие воды.

16 W hen I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

Я услышал это, и сердце мое дрогнуло, мои губы задрожали от Твоего голоса, мое тело ослабло, и ноги подкосились. Однако я буду терпеливо ждать дня расплаты наших завоевателей.

17 A lthough the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Даже если инжир не расцветет, и не будет винограда на лозе, если маслины не принесут плода, и поля не дадут урожая, если не останется овец в загоне и волов – в стойлах,

18 y et I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

я все равно буду радоваться Господу и ликовать о Боге, моем Спасителе.

19 T he Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Владыка Господь – моя сила; Он делает ноги мои сильными, как у оленя, и возводит меня на высоты. Дирижеру хора. На струнных инструментах.
