1 T hen Bildad the Shuhite answered,

Respondió Bildad suhita, y dijo:

2 “ Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.

El señorío y el temor están con él; El hace paz en sus alturas.

3 C an his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?

¿Tienen sus ejércitos número? ¿Sobre quién no está su luz?

4 H ow then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?

¿Cómo, pues, se justificará el hombre para con Dios? ¿Y cómo será limpio el que nace de mujer?

5 B ehold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;

He aquí que ni aun la misma luna será resplandeciente, Ni las estrellas son limpias delante de sus ojos;

6 H ow much less man, who is a worm, the son of man, who is a worm!”

¿Cuánto menos el hombre, que es un gusano, Y el hijo de hombre, también gusano?
