1 V indicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men.

Júzgame, oh Dios, y defiende mi causa; Líbrame de gente impía, y del hombre engañoso e inicuo.

2 F or you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

Pues que tú eres el Dios de mi fortaleza, ¿por qué me has desechado? ¿Por qué andaré enlutado por la opresión del enemigo?

3 O h, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, To your tents.

Envía tu luz y tu verdad; éstas me guiarán; Me conducirán a tu santo monte, Y a tus moradas.

4 T hen I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God.

Entraré al altar de Dios, Al Dios de mi alegría y de mi gozo; Y te alabaré con arpa, oh Dios, Dios mío.

5 W hy are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God.

¿Por qué te abates, oh alma mía, Y por qué te turbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios; porque aún he de alabarle, Salvación mía y Dios mío.
