1 I ncline Your ear, O Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and distressed, needy and desiring.

Oración de David. INCLINA, oh Jehová, tu oído, y óyeme; Porque estoy afligido y menesteroso.

2 P reserve my life, for I am godly and dedicated; O my God, save Your servant, for I trust in You.

Guarda mi alma, porque soy pío: Salva tú, oh Dios mío, á tu siervo que en ti confía.

3 B e merciful and gracious to me, O Lord, for to You do I cry all the day.

Ten misericordia de mí, oh Jehová: Porque á ti clamo todo el día.

4 M ake me, Your servant, to rejoice, O Lord, for to You do I lift myself up.

Alegra el alma de tu siervo: Porque á ti, oh Señor, levanto mi alma.

5 F or You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and You are abundant in mercy and loving-kindness to all those who call upon You.

Porque tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador, Y grande en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan.

6 G ive ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and listen to the cry of my supplications.

Escucha, oh Jehová, mi oración, Y está atento á la voz de mis ruegos.

7 I n the day of my trouble I will call on You, for You will answer me.

En el día de mi angustia te llamaré: Porque tú me respondes.

8 T here is none like unto You among the gods, O Lord, neither are their works like unto Yours.

Oh Señor, ninguno hay como tú entre los dioses, Ni obras que igualen tus obras.

9 A ll nations whom You have made shall come and fall down before You, O Lord; and they shall glorify Your name.

Todas las gentes que hiciste vendrán y se humillarán delante de ti, Señor; Y glorificarán tu nombre.

10 F or You are great and work wonders! You alone are God.

Porque tú eres grande, y hacedor de maravillas: Tú solo eres Dios.

11 T each me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart to fear and honor Your name.

Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad: Consolida mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

12 I will confess and praise You, O Lord my God, with my whole (united) heart; and I will glorify Your name forevermore.

Te alabaré, oh Jehová Dios mío, con todo mi corazón; Y glorificaré tu nombre para siempre.

13 F or great is Your mercy and loving-kindness toward me; and You have delivered me from the depths of Sheol.

Porque tu misericordia es grande para conmigo; Y has librado mi alma del hoyo profundo.

14 O God, the proud and insolent are risen against me; a rabble of violent and ruthless men has sought and demanded my life, and they have not set You before them.

Oh Dios, soberbios se levantaron contra mí, Y conspiración de fuertes ha buscado mi alma, Y no te pusieron delante de sí.

15 B ut You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness and truth.

Mas tú, Señor, Dios misericordioso y clemente, Lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

16 O turn to me and have mercy and be gracious to me; grant strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) to Your servant and save the son of Your handmaiden.

Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí: Da tu fortaleza á tu siervo, Y guarda al hijo de tu sierva.

17 S how me a sign of goodwill and favor, that those who hate me may see it and be put to shame, because You, Lord, help and comfort me.

Haz conmigo señal para bien, Y veánla los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados; Porque tú, Jehová, me ayudaste, y me consolaste.
