1 N ow after the Sabbath, near dawn of the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary went to take a look at the tomb.

2 A nd behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled the boulder back and sat upon it.
Y se produjo un gran terremoto, porque un ángel del Señor descendiendo del cielo, y acercándose, removió la piedra y se sentó sobre ella.
3 H is appearance was like lightning, and his garments as white as snow.
Su aspecto era como un relámpago, y su vestidura blanca como la nieve;
4 A nd those keeping guard were so frightened at the sight of him that they were agitated and they trembled and became like dead men.
y de miedo a él los guardias temblaron y se quedaron como muertos.
5 B ut the angel said to the women, Do not be alarmed and frightened, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, Who was crucified.
Hablando el ángel, dijo a las mujeres: “Ustedes, no teman; porque yo sé que buscan a Jesús, el que fue crucificado.
6 H e is not here; He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where He lay.
No está aquí, porque ha resucitado, tal como El dijo. Vengan, vean el lugar donde estaba puesto.
7 T hen go quickly and tell His disciples, He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.
Vayan pronto, y digan a Sus discípulos que El ha resucitado de entre los muertos; y El va delante de ustedes a Galilea; allí Lo verán. Miren, se los he dicho.”
8 S o they left the tomb hastily with fear and great joy and ran to tell the disciples.
Y ellas, alejándose a toda prisa del sepulcro con temor y gran gozo, corrieron a dar las noticias a los discípulos.
9 A nd as they went, behold, Jesus met them and said, Hail (greetings)! And they went up to Him and clasped His feet and worshiped Him.
De repente Jesús les salió al encuentro, diciendo: “¡Saludos!” Y ellas, acercándose, abrazaron Sus pies y Lo adoraron.
10 T hen Jesus said to them, Do not be alarmed and afraid; go and tell My brethren to go into Galilee, and there they will see Me.
Entonces Jesús les dijo: “No teman. Vayan, avisen a Mis hermanos que vayan a Galilea, y allí Me verán.” Informe de los Guardias
11 W hile they were on their way, behold, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had occurred.
Mientras ellas iban, algunos de la guardia fueron a la ciudad e informaron a los principales sacerdotes de todo lo que había sucedido.
12 A nd when they had gathered with the elders and had consulted together, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers,
Después de reunirse con los ancianos y deliberar con ellos, dieron una gran cantidad de dinero a los soldados,
13 A nd said, Tell people, His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we were sleeping.
diciendo: “Digan esto: ‘Sus discípulos vinieron de noche y robaron el cuerpo mientras nosotros dormíamos.’
14 A nd if the governor hears of it, we will appease him and make you safe and free from trouble and care.
Y si esto llega a oídos del gobernador, nosotros lo convenceremos y les evitaremos dificultades.”
15 S o they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this story has been current among the Jews to the present day.
Ellos tomaron el dinero e hicieron como se les había instruido. Y este dicho se divulgó extensamente entre los Judíos hasta hoy. La Gran Comisión
16 N ow the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made appointment with them.
Pero los once discípulos se fueron a Galilea, al monte que Jesús les había señalado.
17 A nd when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted.
Cuando Lo vieron, Lo adoraron; pero algunos dudaron.
18 J esus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Acercándose Jesús, les dijo: “Toda autoridad Me ha sido dada en el cielo y en la tierra.
19 G o then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Vayan, pues, y hagan discípulos de todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo,
20 T eaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days ( perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).
enseñándoles a guardar todo lo que les he mandado; y ¡recuerden (he aquí)! Yo estoy con ustedes todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo.”
