1 N ow these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath as far as Hazar-enan, which is on the northern border of Damascus opposite Hamath, and reaching from the east border to the west, Dan, one.

9 T he portion of land that you shall set apart and offer to the Lord shall be 25, 000 in length and 10, 000 in breadth.

La porción que separarán para el Señor será de 13, 125 metros de largo y 5, 250 metros de ancho.

10 A nd for these, even for the priests, shall be this holy offering of land: toward the north 25, 000 in length, and toward the west 10, 000 in breadth, and toward the east 10, 000 in breadth, and toward the south 25, 000 in length, and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst of it.

Y la porción sagrada será para éstos, es decir, para los sacerdotes, hacia el norte, de 13, 125 metros de largo, hacia el occidente de 5, 250 metros de ancho, hacia el oriente de 5, 250 de ancho, y hacia el sur de 13, 125 metros de largo; y el santuario del Señor estará en medio de ella.

11 T he set-apart and sacred portion shall be for the consecrated priests of the sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge and who did not go astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the other Levites did.

Esta será para los sacerdotes santificados de los hijos de Sadoc, que han guardado Mi ordenanza, que no se descarriaron cuando los Israelitas se descarriaron, como se descarriaron los Levitas.

12 A nd this land offering shall be for the priests as a thing most holy beside the border of the Levites.

13 A nd opposite the border of the priests the Levites shall have 25, 000 in length and 10, 000 in breadth. The whole length shall be 25, 000 and the breadth 10, 000.

14 A nd they shall not sell any of it or exchange it; they shall not convey or transfer this the firstfruits of the land, for it has been offered to the Lord and is holy to Him.

15 A nd the remaining strip of 5, 000 in breadth and 25, 000 in length shall be for the city’s secular use, for a place in which to dwell and for open country or suburbs. The city shall be in the midst of the plot.

16 A nd these shall be the dimensions of it: the north side 4, 500 and the south side 4, 500, the east side 4, 500 and the west side 4, 500.

Y éstas serán sus medidas: al lado norte, 2, 363 metros, al lado sur, 2, 363 metros, al lado oriental, 2, 363 metros, y al lado occidental, 2, 363 metros.

17 A nd the city shall have suburbs or open country: toward the north 250 and toward the south 250, toward the east 250 and toward the west 250.

La ciudad tendrá pastizales (praderas): al norte, 131. 25 metros, al sur, 131. 25 metros, al oriente, 131. 25 metros, y al occidente, 131. 25 metros.

18 T he remainder of the length along beside the holy portion shall be 10, 000 to the east and 10, 000 to the west, and it shall be along beside the holy portion. The produce from it shall be for food for those who work in the city.

Lo que quede de la longitud a lo largo de la porción sagrada será de 5, 250 metros hacia el oriente y de 5, 250 metros hacia el occidente; y estará a lo largo de la porción sagrada. Y sus productos servirán de alimento para los trabajadores de la ciudad.

19 A nd the workers of the city from all the tribes of Israel shall till the open land.

20 T he whole portion that you shall set apart as an offering to God shall be 25, 000 by 25, 000; you shall set apart the holy portion foursquare, together with the property of the city.

Toda la porción será de 13, 125 metros por 13, 125 metros; separarán la porción sagrada, un cuadrado, junto con la propiedad de la ciudad.

21 A nd what is left unallotted, on both sides of the holy portion and of that possessed by the city, shall belong to the prince. Reaching eastward from the 25, 000 of the holy portion to the east border, and westward from the 25, 000 to the west border, parallel to the tribal allotments, it belongs to the prince. The holy portion with the sanctuary of the temple in its midst,

“Y lo que quede será para el príncipe, a uno y otro lado de la porción santa y de la propiedad de la ciudad; a lo largo de los 13, 125 metros de la porción hasta el límite oriental y hacia el occidente enfrente de los 13, 125 metros, hacia el límite occidental, a lo largo de las partes, será para el príncipe. 22 A nd the possession of the Levites and the property of the city shall be in the midst of that which belongs to the prince. What lies between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall be for the prince.

Y excluyendo la propiedad de los Levitas y la propiedad de la ciudad que están en medio de lo que pertenece al príncipe, todo lo que está entre el límite de Judá y el límite de Benjamín, será para el príncipe.

23 A s for the rest of the tribes, from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one.

26 A nd beside the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one.

27 A nd beside the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one.

28 A nd beside the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall extend from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh and on along the Brook to the Great or Mediterranean Sea.

Y junto al límite de Gad, al lado sur, hacia el sur, el límite será desde Tamar hasta las aguas de Meriba de Cades, hacia el torrente de Egipto hasta el Mar Grande.

29 T his is the land which you shall divide by allotment among the tribes of Israel as their inheritance, and these are their several portions, says the Lord God.

30 A nd these shall be the exits of the city: On the north side, which is to extend 4, 500 measures,

31 T hree gates: one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi, the gates of the city being called after the names of the tribes of Israel;

32 A nd on the east side’s 4, 500 measures, three gates: one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan;

Al lado oriental, 2, 363 metros, y tres puertas: la Puerta de José, una; la Puerta de Benjamín, otra; la Puerta de Dan, otra.

33 A nd on the south side’s 4, 500 measures, three gates: one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun;

34 O n the west side’s 4, 500 measures, three gates: one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.

35 T he distance around the city shall be 18, 000 measures; and the name of the city from that day and ever after shall be, the lord is there.

La ciudad tendrá 9, 450 metros en derredor; y el nombre de la ciudad desde ese día será: ‘el Señor está allí.’”
