1 I n quel giorno dirai: «Io ti celebro, o Eterno. Anche se ti eri adirato con me, la tua ira si è calmata e mi hai consolato.

And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me.

2 E cco, Dio è la mia salvezza; io avrò fiducia e non avrò paura, perché l'Eterno, sí, l'Eterno è la mia forza e il mio cantico, ed è stato la mia salvezza».

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

3 V oi attingerete con gioia l'acqua dalle fonti della salvezza.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

4 I n quel giorno direte: «Celebrate l'Eterno, invocate il suo nome, fate conoscere le sue opere tra i popoli, proclamate che il suo nome è eccelso!

And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

5 C antate lodi all'Eterno, perché ha fatto cose grandiose; questo sia noto in tutta la terra.

Sing unto Jehovah; for he hath done excellent things: let this be known in all the earth.

6 G rida ed esulta di gioia, o abitatrice di Sion, perché grande è in mezzo a te il Santo d'Israele».

Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.
