1 J ehovah, I have called upon thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.

Oh Señor, a Ti clamo, apresúrate a venir a mí. Escucha mi voz cuando Te invoco.

2 L et my prayer be set forth before thee as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening oblation.

Sea puesta mi oración delante de Ti como incienso, El alzar de mis manos como la ofrenda de la tarde.

3 S et a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Señor, pon guarda a mi boca; Vigila la puerta de mis labios.

4 I ncline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise deeds of wickedness with men that are workers of iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.

No dejes que mi corazón se incline a nada malo, Para practicar obras impías Con los hombres que hacen iniquidad, Y no me dejes comer de sus manjares.

5 L et the righteous smite me, it is kindness; and let him reprove me, it is an excellent oil which my head shall not refuse: for yet my prayer also is in their calamities.

Que el justo me hiera con bondad y me reprenda; Es aceite sobre la cabeza; No lo rechace mi cabeza, Pues todavía mi oración es contra sus obras malas.

6 W hen their judges are thrown down from the rocks, they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.

Sus jueces son lanzados contra los costados de la peña, Y oyen mis palabras, que son agradables.

7 O ur bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol, as when one cutteth and cleaveth upon the earth.

Como cuando se ara y se rompe la tierra, Nuestros huesos han sido esparcidos a la boca del Seol.

8 F or unto thee, Jehovah, Lord, are mine eyes; in thee do I trust: leave not my soul destitute.

Porque mis ojos miran hacia Ti, oh Dios, Señor; En Ti me refugio, no me desampares.

9 K eep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity.

Guárdame de las garras de la trampa que me han tendido, Y de los lazos de los que hacen iniquidad.

10 L et the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal pass over.

Caigan los impíos en sus propias redes, Mientras yo paso a salvo.
