1 F or Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be still, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a torch that burneth.

Por amor de Sion no callaré, Y por amor de Jerusalén no me estaré quieto, Hasta que salga su justicia como resplandor, Y su salvación se encienda como antorcha.

2 A nd the nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory; and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah will name.

Entonces verán las naciones tu justicia, Y todos los reyes tu gloria, Y te llamarán con un nombre nuevo, Que la boca del Señor determinará.

3 A nd thou shalt be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Serás también corona de hermosura en la mano del Señor, Y diadema real en la palma de tu Dios.

4 T hou shalt no more be termed, Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed, Desolate: but thou shalt be called, My delight is in her, and thy land, Married; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

Nunca más se dirá de ti: “Abandonada,” Ni de tu tierra se dirá jamás: “Desolada;” Sino que se te llamará: “Mi deleite está en ella,” Y a tu tierra: “Prometida.” Porque en ti se deleita el Señor, Y tu tierra tendrá esposo.

5 F or a young man marrieth a virgin, shall thy sons marry thee; and with the joy of the bridegroom over the bride, shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Porque como el joven se desposa con una virgen, Se desposarán contigo tus hijos; Y como se regocija el esposo por la esposa, Tu Dios se regocijará por ti.

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, Jerusalem; all the day and all the night they shall never hold their peace: ye that put Jehovah in remembrance, keep not silence,

Sobre tus murallas, oh Jerusalén, he colocado centinelas; En todo el día y en toda la noche jamás callarán. Ustedes que hacen que el Señor recuerde, no se den descanso,

7 a nd give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Ni Le concedan descanso hasta que la restablezca, Hasta que haga de Jerusalén una alabanza en la tierra.

8 J ehovah hath sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength, I will indeed no more give thy corn food for thine enemies; and the sons of the alien shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou hast laboured;

El Señor ha jurado por Su diestra y por Su fuerte brazo: “Nunca más daré tu grano por alimento a tus enemigos, Ni hijos de extranjeros beberán tu vino nuevo por el que trabajaste.”

9 f or they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Jehovah; and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

Pero los que lo cosechen, lo comerán y alabarán al Señor; Y los que lo recolecten, lo beberán en los atrios de Mi santuario.

10 G o through, go through the gates; prepare the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples.

Pasen, pasen por las puertas; Abran camino al pueblo. Construyan, construyan la calzada; Quiten las piedras, alcen estandarte sobre los pueblos.

11 B ehold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him.

El Señor ha proclamado hasta los confines de la tierra: “Digan a la hija de Sion: ‘Tu salvación viene; Su galardón está con El, y delante de El Su recompensa.’”

12 A nd they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah; and thou shalt be called, The sought out, The city not forsaken.

Y los llamarán: “Pueblo Santo. Redimidos del Señor.” Y a ti te llamarán: “Ciudad Deseada. Ciudad no abandonada.”
