But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory and the lifter up of my head.

5 A nigu waan jiifsaday oo waan iska seexday, Oo haddana waan soo toosay, waayo, Rabbiga ayaa i xannaaneeya.

I laid me down and slept; I awaked, for the LORD sustained me.

6 K a baqi maayo dadka kumanyaalkaa, Oo gees kasta iga hareereeyey.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people that have set themselves against me round about.

7 K ac, Rabbiyow, oo i badbaadi, Ilaahayow, Waayo, cadaawayaashaydii oo dhan waxaad ku dhufatay dhabanka, Oo kuwa sharka leh ilkahoodiina waad jejebisay.

Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God, for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the jawbone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

8 B adbaado waxaa leh Rabbiga, Barakadaadu dadkaaga ha ku soo degto. (Selaah)
