¶ Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend me from those that rise up against me.

Deliver me from the workers of iniquity and save me from bloodthirsty men.

For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul; the strong are gathered against me; I am not in rebellion, nor in sin, O LORD.

4 W axay u ordaan oo isu diyaariyaan wax aanan eed ku lahayn, Dartay u kac inaad i caawiso oo aad i eegto.

They run and prepare themselves when I have committed no iniquity; awake to help me and behold.

5 R abbiyow, Ilaaha ciidammadow, Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iilow, Sara joogso oo quruumaha oo dhan soo booqo, Oo innaba ha u naxariisan xadgudbayaasha. (Selaah)

Thou, therefore, O LORD God of the hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the Gentiles; be not merciful to any rebellious workers of iniquity. Selah.

6 F iidkay soo noqdaan, oo waxay u ciyaan sida eey oo kale, Oo waxay ku warwareegaan magaalada hareeraheeda.

They will return at evening; they will bark like dogs and go round about outside the city.

7 A fkooda waxaa ka qubmaysa cay, Bushimahoodana waxaa ku jira seefo, Waayo, waxay isyidhaahdaan, Bal yaa na maqla?

Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips; for who, say they, doth hear?

8 L aakiinse Rabbiyow, iyagaad ku qosli doontaa, Quruumaha oo dhan waad quudhsan doontaa.

¶ But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the Gentiles in derision.

9 X ooggaygiiyow, adigaan ku sugi doonaa, Waayo, Ilaah waa qalcaddayda.

I will reserve his strength unto thee, for God is my defence.

10 I laahayga naxariista leh ayaa i hor iman doona, Oo waxaan doonayana Ilaah wuxuu iga tusi doonaa cadaawayaashayda.

The God of my mercy shall meet me on the way; God shall let me see my desire upon my enemies.

11 S ayidow, gaashaankayagiiyow, Iyaga ha layn, waaba intaasoo ay dadkaygu illoobaane, Laakiinse iyaga xooggaaga ku kala firdhi, oo hoos u soo deji.

Slay them not lest my people forget; scatter them by thy power and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

12 K ibirkoodu iyaga ha dabo Dembiga afkooda iyo erayada bushimahooda aawadood, Iyo weliba habaarka iyo beenta ay ku hadlaan aawadood.

For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; they shall be subject to weakness and to a curse.

13 I yaga cadho ku baabbi'i, si aanay mar dambe u jirin iyaga baabbi'i, Oo ha ogaadeen in Ilaah u taliyo reer Yacquub Tan iyo dhulka darafkiisa. (Selaah)

Consume them in wrath, consume them that they may not be and let them know that God rules in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

14 O o iyagu fiidka ha soo noqdeen, oo sida eey oo kale ha u ciyeen, Oo magaalada hareeraheeda ha ku warwareegeen.

And at evening let them return and let them bark like dogs and go round about outside the city.

15 W axay u warwareegayaan inay cunto helaan, Oo haddaanay dherginna habeenkii oo dhan way sii joogayaan.

Let them wander up and down for food and murmur if they are not satisfied.

16 L aakiinse anigu waxaan ka gabyi doonaa xooggaaga, Haah, oo aroortii ayaan naxariistaada aad uga gabyi doonaa, Waayo, waxaad ahayd qalcaddaydii, Oo maalintii aan dhibaataysnaana magangal baad ii ahayd.

But I will sing of thy power; I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning, for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

17 X ooggaygiiyow, adigaan ammaan kuugu gabyi doonaa, Waayo, Ilaah waa qalcaddayda, waana Ilaaha naxariistayda.

Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing, for God is my defence and the God of my mercy.
