¶ A prudent man foresees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and receive hurt.
4 I s-hoosaysiinta iyo Rabbiga ka cabsashadiisa abaalgudkoodu Waxaa weeyaan hodantinimo iyo sharaf iyo nolol.
¶ Riches and honour and life are the remuneration of humility and of the fear of the LORD.
5 Q odxan iyo dabinnaba waxay yaalliin jidka ninka qalloocan, Laakiinse kii naftiisa dhawraa waa ka fogaan doonaa iyaga.
¶ Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; he that keeps his soul shall be far from them.
6 I lmo u rabbee siduu ku socon lahaa, Oo isna xataa markuu gaboobo kama leexan doono.
¶ Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.
7 T aajirku masaakiintuu u taliyaa Oo kii wax amaahdaana midiidin buu u yahay kii wax amaahiya.
¶ The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
8 K ii xumaan beeraa wuxuu goosan doonaa belaayo, Oo usha cadhadiisuna way dhammaan doontaa.
¶ He that sows iniquity shall reap iniquity, and the rod of his anger shall fail.
9 K ii il deeqsiya lahu wuu barakoobi doonaa, Waayo, isagu wuxuu cuntadiisa wax ka siiyaa masaakiinta.
¶ He that has a merciful eye shall be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the destitute.
10 K an wax quudhsada eri, oo muranku wuu bixi doonaa, Dirirta iyo cayduna way dhammaan doonaan.
¶ Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; strife and reproach shall cease.
11 K ii daahirsanaanta qalbiga jecel, Oo bushimihiisu nimco leeyihiin, xataa boqorka ayaa saaxiibkiis ahaan doona.
¶ He that loves pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.
12 I ndhaha Rabbigu waxay dhawraan ka aqoonta leh, Laakiinse isagu wuxuu afgembiyaa erayada khaayinka.
¶ The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthrows the words of the transgressor.
13 K ii caajis ahu wuxuu yidhaahdaa, Libaax baa dibadda jooga, Oo jidka dhexdiisa ayaa laygu dili doonaa.
¶ The slothful man says, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.
14 N aago qalaad afkoodu waa god dheer, Oo waxaa ku dhici doona kii xagga Rabbiga laga nacay.
¶ The mouth of strange women is a deep pit; he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.
15 N acasnimadu waxay ku xidhan tahay qalbiga ilmaha. Laakiinse usha edbintu way ka fogayn doontaa.
¶ Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
16 K ii miskiinka u dulma inuu maal korodhsado, Iyo kii taajirka wax siiyaaba hubaal way baahnaan doonaan. Erayada Kuwa Caqliga Leh
¶ He that oppresses the poor to increase his riches and who gives to the rich shall surely come to want.
17 D hegta u dhig, oo erayada kuwa caqliga leh maqal, Oo qalbigana aqoontayda u jeedi.
¶ Bow down thine ear and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my wisdom.
18 W aayo, waa wax wanaagsan haddii aad uurka ku haysatid, Oo hadday dhammaantood bushimahaaga diyaar ku ahaadaan.
For it is a delightful thing if thou keep them within thee; they shall be ordered together in thy lips.
19 B al eeg, adigaan maanta iyaga ku ogeysiiyey, Inaad Rabbiga aaminsan tahay.
That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee.
20 M iyaanan waxyaalo wanaagsan kuugu qorin Talooyinka iyo aqoonta,
Have I not written unto thee three times in counsels and knowledge,
21 S i aan kuu ogeysiiyo hubaasha erayada runta, Inaad erayada runta uga jawaabtid kuwii ku soo diray?
that I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth, that thou mightest answer the words of truth to those that send unto thee?
22 M iskiinka ha dhicin, waayo, isagu waa miskiin, Oo kan dhibaataysanna meesha iridda ha ku dulmin,
¶ Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither destroy the destitute in judgment:
23 W aayo, Rabbiga ayaa dacwadooda u qaadi doona, Oo kuwa iyaga dhaca naftoodana wuu dhici doonaa.
For the LORD will judge their cause and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
24 H a la saaxiibin nin xanaaq badan, Oo nin cadho kululna waa inaanad la socon,
¶ Do not meddle with an angry man, and with a furious man thou shalt not go:
25 W aaba intaas oo aad jidkiisa baratid, Oo aad naftaadana dabin ku riddid.
Lest thou learn his ways and get a snare to thy soul.
26 H a noqonin sida kuwa gacanta dhaar ugu dhiiba, Ama sida kuwa deyman u dammiinta.
¶ Be not thou one of them that strike hands or of them that are sureties for debts.
27 H addaanad haysan wax aad bixiso, Bal muxuu sariirtaada hoostaada uga la bixi?
If thou hast nothing to pay, why should they take away thy bed from under thee?
28 S oohdinta hore oo ay awowayaashu dhigeen Innaba ha durkin.
¶ Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
29 M iyaad aragtaa nin shuqulkiisa ku dadaala? Isagu wuxuu istaagi doonaa boqorro hortood. Oo kuwa hoose hortoodana ma istaagi doono.
¶ Seest thou a man diligent in his work? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before obscure men.
