¶ My heart is overflowing with a good word; I speak of the things which I have done concerning the king; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

3 S eeftaadu bowdadaada ha saarnaato, kaaga xoogga badanow, Oo quruxda iyo haybadda lahow.

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most valiant, with thy glory and thy majesty.

4 R unta iyo camalqabowga iyo xaqnimada daraaddood, Waxaad faraskaaga ku fuushaa haybad adigoo barwaaqaysan, Oo gacantaada midigna waxay ku bari doontaa waxyaalo cabsi badan.

And in thy majesty be prospered; ride upon the word of truth and of humility and of righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

5 F allaadhahaagu waa af badan yihiin, Oo waxay wadnaha ka mudaan boqorka cadaawayaashiisa, Dadyowguna hoostaaday ku soo dhacaan.

Thine arrows, by which the peoples fall under thee, penetrate the heart of the enemies of the king.

6 C arshigaagu, Ilaahow, waa weligiis iyo weligiis, Oo ul caddaaladdeedna waa usha boqortooyadaada.

¶ Thy throne, O God, is eternal and for ever, the rod of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

7 A digu xaqnimada waad jeclayd, oo xumaantana waad necbayd, Sidaas daraaddeed Ilaaha Ilaahaaga ahi wuxuu kuugu subkay Saliidda farxadda, oo kuwa ku weheliyana wuu kaa sarraysiiyey.

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

8 D harkaaga oo dhan waxaa ka soo carfa malmal, iyo cuud, iyo qasica. Oo qasriyo fool maroodi ah ayaa kaaga farxiyey alaab muusiko xadhko leh.

All thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made thee glad.

9 D umarkaaga sharafta leh waxaa ku jira gabdhaha boqorrada, Midigtaadana waxaa taagan boqoradda oo isku sharraxday dahabkii Oofir.

Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women; the queen stands at thy right hand with a crown of gold from Ophir.

10 H addaba, gabadhoy, bal i maqal, oo fiirso, oo dhegta soo dhig, Oo weliba waxaad illowdaa dadkaagii iyo gurigii aabbahaa;

¶ Hearken, O daughter, and consider and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;

11 M arkaasuu boqorku quruxdaada jeclaanayaa, Waayo, isagu waa sayidkaaga, oo adna isaga u sujuud.

so shall the king greatly desire thy beauty; and bow before him, for he is thy Lord.

12 O o waxaa halkaas joogi doonta gabadha reer Turos, iyadoo hadiyad wadda, Xataa taajiriinta dadka ku jirtaa waxay kaa baryi doonaan raallinimo.

And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

13 G abadha boqorka oo hoyga boqorka joogtaa waa qurux miidhan, Dharkeeda dahab baa lagu dhex sameeyey.

The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

14 W axaa boqorka loo geeyn doonaa iyadoo sharraxan, Bikradaha saaxiibadaheeda ah oo iyada daba socdana waa laguu keeni doonaa.

She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework; the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

15 W axaa iyaga lagu hoggaamin doonaa farxad iyo rayrayn, Oo waxay soo geli doonaan hoyga boqorka.

With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought; they shall enter into the king’s palace.

16 M eeshii awowayaashaa waxaa joogi doona wiilashaada, Kuwaas oo aad dunida oo dhan amiirro uga dhigi doonto.

Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons, whom thou shalt make princes in all the earth.

17 M agacaaga waxaan ka dhigi doonaa mid ka ab ka ab la xusuusto, Sidaas daraaddeed dadyowgu mahad bay kuu naqi doonaan weligood iyo weligood.

I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the people praise thee eternally and for ever.
