1 R abbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, maalintii waa imanaysaa oo waxay u qaxmaysaa sidii foorno oo kale, oo kuwa kibirka leh oo dhan iyo kuwa xumaanta ka shaqeeya oo dhammuba waxay ahaan doonaan jirrido jajab ah, oo maalinta imanaysa ayaa iyaga gubi doonta, taasuna iyaga uma reebi doonto xidid iyo laan toona.

¶ For, behold, the day comes that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble; and the day that comes shall burn them up, said the LORD of the hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 L aakiinse kuwiinna magacayga ka cabsada waxaa idiin soo bixi doonta qorraxdii xaqnimada oo baallaheeda bogsiinta ku sidda, oo intaad baxdaan ayaad u boodboodi doontaan sida weylaha edegga ka baxa oo kale.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness be born, and in his wings he shall bring saving health; and ye shall go forth and jump like calves of the herd.

3 O o waxaad ku tuman doontaan kuwa sharka ah oo dhan, waayo, maalinta aan saas sameeyo iyagu waxay ahaan doonaan sida dambas cagihiinna ka hooseeya, ayaa Rabbiga ciidammadu leeyahay.

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make, said the LORD of the hosts.

4 X usuusta addoonkaygii Muuse sharcigiisii, kaasoo aan ku amray isagoo jooga Buur Xoreeb oo aan u siiyey reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan daraaddood, waxaana weeye qaynuunno iyo xukummo.

¶ Remember ye the law of Moses my slave, which I commanded unto him in Horeb statutes and my rights over all Israel.

5 B al eega, maalinta weyn oo cabsida badan oo Rabbigu intaanay iman waxaan idiin soo diri doonaa Nebi Eliiyaah.

Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD:

6 O o isagu aabbayaasha qalbigooda ayuu u soo jeedin doonaa carruurta xaggooda, oo carruurta qalbigoodana wuu u soo jeedin doonaa aabbayaasha xaggooda, si aanan u iman oo dhulka inkaar ugu dhufan.

and he shall convert the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with destruction.
