1 L ubnaanay, albaabbadaada fur in dab baabbi'iyo geedahaaga kedarka ah.

¶ Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.

2 G eed beroosh ahow, ooya, waayo, geedkii kedarka ahaa waa dhacay, maxaa yeelay, kuwii qurqurxoonaa waa la kharribay. Kuwiinna geedaha alloonka ah oo Baashaan yahow, ooya, waayo, kayntii adkayd waa dhacday.

Howl, fir tree, for the cedar is fallen because the magnificent are cut down; howl, O ye oaks of Bashan, for the strong mountain is brought down.

3 W axaa yeedhaya codkii baroortii adhijirrada! Waayo, sharaftoodii waa la kharribay! Waxaa yeedhaya codkii cida aaran libaaxyada! Waayo, kibirkii Urdun waa la kharribay. Laba Adhijir

There is a voice of the howling of the pastors; for their magnificence is destroyed; a voice of the roaring of young lions, for the pride of the Jordan is destroyed.

4 R abbiga Ilaahayga ahu wuxuu yidhi, Daaji idaha la qalayo.

¶ Thus hath the LORD my God said, Feed the flock of the slaughter,

5 K uwii hantidooda lahaa way gowracaan, oo isumana ay haystaan inay eed leeyihiin, oo kuwa iyaga soo iibiyaana mid kastaaba wuxuu leeyahay, Mahad waxaa leh Rabbiga, waayo, taajir baan noqday, oo adhijirradooduna uma ay naxaan iyaga.

whose buyers slayed them and held themselves not guilty; and he that sold them said, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and not even their own shepherds had compassion on them.

6 W aayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu mar dambe u sii nixi maayo dadka dalka deggan, laakiinse bal eeg, nin kastaba waxaan ku ridi doonaa gacanta deriskiisa, iyo gacanta boqorkiisa, oo iyana dalkay ku dhufan doonaan, oo gacantooda kama aan samatabbixin doono.

Therefore I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD; but, behold, I will deliver the men each one into his neighbour’s hand and into the hand of his king; and they shall smite the land, and I will not deliver them out of their hands.

7 M arkaasaan daajiyey idaha la qalayo, oo sida xaqiiqada ah waxay ahaayeen idaha ugu miskiinsan. Oo waxaan soo qaatay laba ulood, oo mid waxaan u bixiyey Raallinimo, middii kalena waxaan u bixiyey Xidhiidh, oo idihii waan daajiyey.

And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. For I took unto me two staves: the one I named Beauty, and the other Bands; and I fed the flock.

8 O o saddexdii adhijirba isku bil baan baabbi'iyey, waayo, naftaydu way ka daashay, oo weliba naftooduna way iga neceen.

I also cut off three shepherds in one month; and my soul was in anguish for them, and their soul also abhorred me.

9 M arkaasaan idhi, Anigu idin daajin maayo. Kii dhimanayaa ha dhinto, kii halligmayaana ha halligmo, oo intii hadhana mid waluba kan kale hilibkiisa ha cuno.

Then I said, I will not feed you any longer; the one that dies, let it die; and the one that is to be lost, let it be lost; and let the rest eat each one the flesh of another.

10 O o waxaan soo qaatay ushaydii aan Raallinimo u bixiyey, oo waan kala jebiyey, si aan u jebiyo axdigaygii aan dadyowga oo dhan la dhigtay.

And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.

11 O o maalintaasuu jabay, oo sidaasay kuwii idaha u miskiinsanaa oo i dhegaystay u ogaadeen in kaasu yahay Eraygii Rabbiga.

And it was broken in that day; and so the poor of the flock that look unto me knew that it was the word of the LORD.

12 O o waxaan iyagii ku idhi, Hadday idinla wanaagsan tahay, kiradaydii i siiya, haddii kalese iska daaya. Sidaas daraaddeed waxay kiradaydii iigu miisaameen soddon gogo' oo lacag ah.

And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my wages; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.

13 O o Rabbigu wuxuu igu yidhi, Dheryasameeyaha u tuur qiimihii wanaagsanaa oo ay igu qiimeeyeen. Oo anna waxaan soo qaaday soddonkii gogo' oo lacagta ahaa, kolkaasaan guriga Rabbiga ugu tuuray dheryasameeyaha.

And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the treasury: a goodly price that I was appraised at by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them in the house of the LORD unto the treasury.

14 O o haddana waxaan kala jebiyey ushaydii kale oo aan Xidhiidh u bixiyey, inaan kala gooyo walaalnimadii dadka dalka Yahuudah iyo dadka dalka Israa'iil ka dhexaysay.

Then I cut asunder my other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

15 O o Rabbigu wuxuu igu yidhi, Haddana mar kale waxaad qaadataa adhijir nacas ah alaabtiis.

¶ And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

16 W aayo, bal eeg, waxaan dalka ka dhex kicin doonaa adhijir aan soo booqanayn kuwa ambaday, oo aan doondoonayn kuwa kala firdhay, oo aan bogsiinayn kii jaban, oo aan daajinayn kii feyow, laakiinse isagu wuxuu cuni doonaa hilibka baruurta, oo raafafkoodana wuu kala dildillaacin doonaa.

For, behold, I raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that are lost, neither shall seek the young one nor heal the one that is broken nor carry the one that is tired, but he shall eat the flesh of the fat and tear their hoofs in pieces.

17 W axaa iska hoogay adhijirka waxtarlaawaha ah oo adhiga isaga taga! Seef baa ku dhici doonta gacantiisa iyo ishiisa midig. Gacantiisu dhammaanteed way engegi doontaa, oo ishiisa midigna kulligeed way madoobaan doontaa.

Woe to the useless pastor that leaves the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm and upon his right eye; his arm shall be completely dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
