¶ Now these are those that came to David to Ziklag, while he was yet restrained because of Saul, the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war.

The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah, the Gibeathite; and Jeziel and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah and Jehu, the Antothite,

Elkanah, Jesiah, Azareel, Joezer, Jashobeam, the Korhites,

7 i yo Yooceelaah iyo Sebadyaah oo ahaa wiilashii Yeroxaam oo ahaa reer Gedoor.

and Joelah and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.

8 O o waxaa reer Gaad Daa'uud isaga soocay oo ugu tegey dhufayskii cidlada ku yiil rag xoog badan oo ah rag dagaal loo tababbaray, oo gaashaan iyo waran qaadan karay, oo wejigooduna wuxuu ahaa sida weji libaax oo kale, oo waxay u dheereeyeen sida cawsha buuraha joogta.

And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David in the fortress in the wilderness, men of might of war fit for the battle, put in order with shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;

9 O o iyaga waxaa madax ahaa Ceser, Cobadyaahna wuxuu ahaa kii labaad, Elii'aabna kii saddexaad,

Ezer, the chief, Obadiah, the second, Eliab, the third,

10 M ishmannaahna kii afraad, Yeremyaahna kii shanaad,

Mishmannah, the fourth, Jeremiah, the fifth,

11 C atayna kii lixaad, Elii'eelna kii toddobaad,

Attai, the sixth, Eliel, the seventh,

12 Y ooxaanaanna kii siddeedaad, Elsaabaadna kii sagaalaad,

Johanan, the eighth, Elzabad, the ninth,

13 Y eremyaahna kii tobnaad, Makbannayna kii kow iyo tobnaad.

Jeremiah, the tenth, Machbanai, the eleventh.

14 K uwaas oo ahaa reer Gaad waxay ahaayeen saraakiishii ciidanka, oo kii iyaga ugu yaraa wuxuu u dhigmaa boqol nin, kii ugu weynaana kun nin.

These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host. One of the least was over one hundred men, and the greatest over a thousand.

And David went out to meet them and answered and said unto them, If you are come peaceably unto me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if you are come to betray me to my enemies, seeing there is no violence in my hands, let the God of our fathers look thereon and rebuke it.

As he went to Ziklag, there passed over to him of Manasseh, Adnah, Jozabad, Jediael, Michael, Jozabad, Elihu, and Zilthai, heads of the thousands that were of Manasseh.

And they helped David with a band; for they were all mighty men of valour and were captains in the host.

For at that time help came every day to David until it was a great camp, like the camp of God.

¶ And this is the number of the heads of those that were ready armed for war and came to David in Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.

Of the sons of Judah that bore shield and spear, six thousand eight hundred, ready armed for war.

Of the sons of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand one hundred.

26 R eer Laawina waxaa ka joogay afar kun iyo lix boqol.

Of the sons of Levi four thousand six hundred.

27 O o Yehooyaadaacna wuxuu ahaa madaxdii reer Haaruun, oo isagana waxaa la socday saddex kun iyo toddoba boqol oo nin.

Likewise Jehoiada, prince of those of the lineage of Aaron, and with him three thousand seven hundred;

28 S aadooqna wuxuu ahaa nin dhallinyar oo xoog badan, oo waxaa la jiray laba iyo labaatan sirkaal oo reerkiisii wada ah.

and Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father’s house twenty-two captains.

29 O o reer Benyaamiin oo ahaa Saa'uul walaalihiisna waxaa ka joogay saddex kun oo nin, waayo, ilaa waagaas iyaga intoodii badnayd waxay daacad u sii ahaayeen reerkii Saa'uul.

Of the sons of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand; for in that time many of them had the charge of the house of Saul.

30 O o reer Efrayimna waxaa ka joogay labaatan kun iyo siddeed boqol oo nin, oo ah rag xoog badan oo dhammaantood reerahooda caan ku ah.

And of the sons of Ephraim twenty thousand eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the houses of their fathers.

31 O o reer Manaseh badhkiisiina waxaa ka joogay siddeed iyo toban kun oo nin, oo loo magacaabay inay yimaadaan oo ay Daa'uud boqraan.

And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, who were designated by name, to come and make David king.

32 O o reer Isaakaarna waxaa ka joogay rag garasho u leh wakhtiyada iyo waxa reer binu Israa'iil waajibka ku ah inay sameeyaan, oo iyaga madaxdoodu waxay ahaayeen laba boqol oo nin oo walaalahood oo dhanna iyagaa xukumay.

And of the sons of Issachar, two hundred chief men, who had understanding of the times and were wise to know what Israel ought to do; and all their brethren followed their word.

33 O o reer Sebulunna waxaa ka joogay kuwo ciidanka geli kara oo dagaalka isu safi kara, iyagoo wata cayn kasta oo ah alaabta dagaalka, oo isdiyaarin kara, oo aan labaqalbiilayaal ahayn, oo tiradooduna waxay ahayd konton kun oo nin.

Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all weapons of war, fifty thousand, who could keep rank; they were not of double heart.

34 O o reer Naftaalina waxaa ka joogay kun sirkaal oo ay la socdaan toddoba iyo soddon kun oo nin oo waran iyo gaashaan wada sita.

And of Naphtali a thousand captains and with them with shield and spear thirty-seven thousand.

35 O o reer Daanna waxaa ka joogay siddeed iyo labaatan kun iyo lix boqol oo nin oo dagaalka isu safi kara.

And of those of Dan expert in war twenty-eight thousand six hundred.

36 O o reer Aasheerna waxaa ka joogay afartan kun oo nin oo ciidanka geli kara oo dagaalka isu safi kara.

And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.

37 O o Webi Urdun dhankiisa kalena waxaa ka yimid boqol iyo labaatan kun oo nin oo wata cayn kasta oo ah alaabta dagaalka, oo waxayna ahaayeen reer Ruubeen, iyo reer Gaad, iyo reer Manaseh badhkiis.

And of the other side of the Jordan, of those of Reuben and those of Gad and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, one hundred and twenty thousand.

38 I ntaas oo dhan oo wada ahaa rag dagaalyahan ah oo dagaalka isu safi kara waxay Xebroon ula yimaadeen qalbi qumman inay Daa'uud reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan u boqraan, oo reer binu Israa'iil intooda hadhay oo dhammuna isku qalbi bay ku ahaayeen inay Daa'uud boqraan.

All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel; and likewise, all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

39 O o iyana halkaasay Daa'uud la joogeen intii saddex maalmood ah, iyagoo wax cunaya oo wax cabbaya, waayo, walaalahood baa sooryo u diyaariyey.

And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking, for their brethren had prepared for them.

40 O o weliba dadkii iyaga u dhowaa ee ahaa ilaa reer Isaakaar iyo reer Sebulun iyo reer Naftaali waxay cunto ku soo rareen dameerro, iyo awr, iyo baqlo, iyo dibi, oo waxay keeneen bur, iyo fudad berde ah, iyo rucubo sabiib ah, iyo khamri, iyo saliid, iyo dibi, iyo ido, dhammaanna aad iyo aad bay u badnaayeen, maxaa yeelay, reer binu Israa'iil dhexdooda farxad baa jirtay.

And likewise, those that were near them, even unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses and on camels and on mules and on oxen, and food, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly; for there was joy in Israel.
