1 M arkaas waxaa Yeruusaalem Ciise uga yimid niman Farrisiin iyo culimmo ah, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen,

¶ Then certain scribes and Pharisees of Jerusalem came unto Jesus, saying,

2 X ertaadu maxay xeerka waayeellada uga gudbaan? Waayo, ma faro xashaan goortay kibis cunayaan.

Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.

3 W uu u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Idinkuba maxaad amarkii Ilaah uga gudubtaan xeerkiinna aawadiis?

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

4 W aayo, Ilaah wuxuu amray, Aabbahaa iyo hooyadaa maamuus, oo Kan aabbihii ama hooyadii caayaa, dhimasho ha ku dhammaado.

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother, and, He that curses father or mother, let him die without recourse.

5 L aakiin waxaad leedihiin, Kan aabbihii ama hooyadii ku yidhaahda, Wixii aan idiin tari lahaa, hadiyad baan Ilaah ugu bixiyey,

But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, Whatever I might have helped thee with is already my offering unto God,

6 a abbihii ama hooyadii maamuusi maayo. Xeerkiinna ayaad erayga Ilaah ku buriseen.

and now has no need to honour his father or his mother with succour. Thus ye have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.

7 L abawejiilayaalow, Isayos aad buu wax idiinka sii sheegay markuu yidhi,

Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,

8 D adkanu bushimahooda ayay igu maamuusaan, Laakiin qalbigoodu waa iga fog yahay.

This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth and honours me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

9 S i aan micne lahayn ayay ii caabudaan, Iyagoo dadka wax ku baraya amarrada dadka.

But in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men.

10 M arkaasuu dadkii badnaa u yeedhay oo ku yidhi, Maqla oo garta.

¶ And calling the multitude unto him, he said unto them, Hear and understand:

11 M a aha waxa afka gala waxa ninka nijaaseeyaa, laakiin waxa afka ka soo baxa, kaas ayaa ninka nijaaseeya.

not that which goes into the mouth defiles the man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles the man.

12 M arkaasaa xertii u timid oo ku tidhi, Ma og tahay Farrisiintii inay ka xumaadeen markay hadalkii maqleen?

Then his disciples came and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this word?

13 L aakiin wuu u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Geed walba oo aan Aabbahayga jannada ku jiraa abuurin waa la rujin doonaa.

But he answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.

14 I ska daaya. Iyagu waa indhoolayaal indhoolayaal hagayaye. Laakiin nin indha la' hadduu nin indha la' hago, labadooduba god bay ku dhici doonaan.

Let them alone; they are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into a pit.

15 M arkaasaa Butros u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Masaalkaa noo caddee.

Then Peter answered and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 K olkaasuu wuxuu yidhi, Idinku weli ma garashola'aan baad tihiin?

And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17 M iyaydnaan garanaynin, Wax kasta oo afka galaa calooshay tagaan, oo waxaa lagu tuuraa meesha lagu saxaroodo?

Do not ye yet understand that whatever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly and is cast out into the draught?

18 L aakiin waxa afka ka soo baxaa, qalbigay ka yimaadaan; oo kuwaas weeye waxa ninka nijaaseeyaa.

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and they defile the man.

19 W aayo, waxaa qalbiga ka soo baxaa fikirrada sharka leh iyo dilidda iyo sinada iyo galmada xaaraanta ah iyo tuuganimada iyo maragga beenta ah iyo cayda.

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 K uwan weeye waxa ninka nijaaseeyaa. Laakiin in lagu cuno faro aan la maydhin, ninka ma nijaasayso. Bogsiintii Gabadhii Aan Yuhuudda Ahayn

these are the things which defile the man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man.

21 C iise ayaa meeshaas ka baxay, oo dhinacyada Turos iyo Siidoon ayuu u leexday.

¶ Then Jesus left there and departed into the parts of Tyre and Sidon.

22 O o naag reer Kancaan ah ayaa soohdimahaas ka soo baxday oo qaylisay iyadoo leh, Ii naxariiso, Sayidow, ina Daa'uudow. Gabadhayda jinni baa si xun u waalaya.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan having come out of the same borders cried unto him, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me; my daughter is sick, possessed by a demon.

23 L aakiin hadal uguma uu jawaabin. Markaasaa xertiisii u timid oo ka bariday iyagoo leh, Eri, waayo, way inaga daba qaylinaysaa.

But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she cries out after us.

24 L aakiin wuxuu u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, La iima soo dirin, idaha lunsan oo reer binu Israa'iil maahee.

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 L aakiin iyadu way u timid oo sujuudday, oo waxay tidhi, Sayidow, i caawi.

Then she came and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 W uxuu u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Ma wanaagsana in carruurta kibistooda la qaado oo eeyaha loo tuuro.

But he answered and said, It is not good to take the children’s bread and to cast it to the little dogs.

27 W axay tidhi, Waa run, Sayidow, laakiin weliba eeyahu waxay cunaan jajabka ka dhaca miiska sayidkooda.

And she said, Yes, Lord, yet the little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.

28 M arkaasaa Ciise u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Naagtay, rumaysadkaagu waa weyn yahay ee ha kuu noqoto sidaad doonaysid. Oo saacaddaasba gabadheedii waa bogsatay. Dad Badan Baa La Bogsiiyey

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou desire. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

29 M arkaasaa Ciise halkaas ka tegey, oo wuxuu u soo dhowaaday badda Galili, oo buurtuu fuulay oo halkaasuu fadhiistay.

¶ And Jesus left there and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee and went up into the mountain and sat down there.

30 K olkaasaa waxaa u yimid dad fara badan oo wada kuwa curyaan ah iyo kuwa indha la' iyo kuwa carrab la' iyo kuwa addimmo la' iyo qaar badan oo kale, oo waxay iyaga dhigeen cagihiisa agtooda, wuuna bogsiiyey.

And many people came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many other sick and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them,

31 S idaas daraaddeed baa dadkii yaabay goortay arkeen kuwii carrabka la'aa oo hadlaya iyo kuwii lugaha la'aa oo bogsaday iyo kuwii curyaanka ahaa oo socda iyo kuwii indhaha la'aa oo wax arkaya, waxayna ammaaneen Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil. Waxaa Cunto La Siiyey Afar Kun Oo Nin

insomuch that the multitude wondered when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see, and they glorified the God of Israel.

32 M arkaasaa Ciise xertiisii u yeedhay oo ku yidhi, Dadka badan ayaan u naxariisanayaa, waayo, durba saddex maalmood ayay ila joogeen, oo waxay cunaanna ma haystaan. Dooni maayo inaan diro iyagoo sooman waaba intaas oo ay jidka ku itaal beelaane.

Then Jesus called his disciples unto him and said, I have mercy on the multitude because they persevere with me now three days and have nothing to eat, and I desire not to send them away fasting lest they faint in the way.

33 X ertiisii waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Innagoo meel cidla ah joogna, xaggee baynu ka helaynaa kibis intaa le'eg in dad sida u badanu ka dhergaan?

Then his disciples say unto him, From where do we have so much bread in the wilderness as to satisfy so great a multitude?

34 C iise ayaa ku yidhi Immisa kibsood baad haysaan? Waxay yidhaahdeen, Toddoba iyo waxoogaa kalluun yaryar ah.

And Jesus said unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven and a few little fishes.

35 O o wuxuu dadkii badnaa ku amray inay dhulka fadhiistaan.

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

36 M arkaasuu toddobadii kibsood iyo kalluunkii soo qaaday, oo goortuu ku mahadnaqay ayuu kala jejebiyey oo xertii siiyey, xertiina dadkii badnaa ayay siiyeen.

And he took the seven loaves and the fishes and gave thanks and broke them and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

37 D hammaantood way wada cuneen oo dhergeen, oo waxay soo ururiyeen toddoba dambiilood oo ka buuxa jajabkii hadhay.

And they all ate and were filled, and they took up of the broken food that was left seven baskets full.

38 D adkii cunayna waxay ahaayeen afar kun oo rag ah oo aan naagaha iyo carruurtu ku jirin.

And those that ate were four thousand men besides women and children.

39 K olkuu dadkii badnaa diray dabadeed ayuu doonni fuulay, oo wuxuu galay soohdimaha Magadan.

And he sent away the multitude and took ship and came into the borders of Magdala.
