1 E n ti, oh Jehová, me he refugiado; No sea yo avergonzado jamás.

In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame.

2 S ocórreme y líbrame en tu justicia; Inclina tu oído y sálvame.

Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; Incline Your ear to me, and save me.

3 S é para mí una roca de refugio, adonde recurra yo continuamente. Tú has dado mandamiento para salvarme, Porque tú eres mi roca y mi fortaleza.

Be my strong refuge, To which I may resort continually; You have given the commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.

4 D ios mío, líbrame de la mano del impío, De las garras del perverso y del opresor.

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

5 P orque tú, oh Señor Jehová, eres mi esperanza. Seguridad mía desde mi juventud.

For You are my hope, O Lord G OD; You are my trust from my youth.

6 E n ti me he apoyado desde el seno materno; De las entrañas de mi madre tú fuiste el que me sacó; En ti se inspira siempre mi alabanza.

By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You.

7 C omo prodigio he sido a muchos; Y tú eres mi refugio fuerte.

I have become as a wonder to many, But You are my strong refuge.

8 S ea llena mi boca de tu alabanza, De tu gloria todo el día.

Let my mouth be filled with Your praise And with Your glory all the day.

9 N o me deseches en el tiempo de la vejez; Cuando mi fuerza se acabe, no me desampares.

Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

10 P orque mis enemigos hablan de mí, Y los que acechan mi alma conspiran juntos,

For my enemies speak against me; And those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together,

11 D iciendo: Dios lo ha desamparado; Perseguidle y prendedle, porque no hay quien le libre.

Saying, “God has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.”

12 O h Dios, no te alejes de mí; Dios mío, acude pronto en mi socorro.

O God, do not be far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!

13 S ean avergonzados, perezcan los adversarios de mi alma; Sean cubiertos de vergüenza y de confusión los que buscan mi mal.

Let them be confounded and consumed Who are adversaries of my life; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor Who seek my hurt.

14 Y o, en cambio, esperaré siempre, Y te alabaré más y más.

But I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.

15 M i boca publicará tu justicia Y tus hechos de salvación todo el día, Aunque no sé su número.

My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And Your salvation all the day, For I do not know their limits.

16 V endré a los hechos poderosos de Jehová el Señor; Haré memoria de tu justicia, que es sólo tuya.

I will go in the strength of the Lord G OD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.

17 O h Dios, me enseñaste desde mi juventud, Y hasta ahora he manifestado tus maravillas.

O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.

18 A un en la vejez y las canas, oh Dios, no me desampares, Hasta que anuncie tu poder a la posteridad, Y tu potencia a todos los que han de venir,

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

19 Y tu justicia, oh Dios, hasta lo excelso. Tú has hecho grandes cosas; Oh Dios, ¿quién como tú?

Also Your righteousness, O God, is very high, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?

20 T ú, que me has hecho ver muchas angustias y males, Volverás a darme vida, Y de nuevo me levantarás de los abismos de la tierra.

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

21 A umentarás mi grandeza, Y volverás a consolarme.

You shall increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side.

22 Y así yo te alabaré con las cuerdas del salterio, Oh Dios mío; tu verdad cantaré a ti con el arpa, Oh Santo de Israel.

Also with the lute I will praise You— And Your faithfulness, O my God! To You I will sing with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.

23 M is labios se alegrarán cuando cante a ti, Y mi alma, la cual redimiste.

My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed.

24 M i lengua hablará también de tu justicia todo el día; Por cuanto han sido avergonzados, porque han sido confundidos los que procuraban mi mal.

My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; For they are confounded, For they are brought to shame Who seek my hurt.
