1 J úzgame, oh Dios, y defiende mi causa; Líbrame de gente maligna, y del hombre engañoso e inicuo.

Vindicate me, O God, And plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!

2 P uesto que tú eres el Dios de mi fortaleza, ¿por qué me has desechado? ¿Por qué andaré como enlutado por la opresión del enemigo?

For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 E nvía tu luz y tu verdad; éstas me guiarán; Me conducirán a tu santo monte, Y a tus moradas.

Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.

4 E ntraré al altar de Dios, Al Dios de mi alegría y de mi gozo; Y te alabaré con arpa, oh Dios, Dios mío.

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

5 ¿ Por qué te abates, oh alma mía, Y por qué te turbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios; porque aún he de alabarle, Salvación mía y Dios mío.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
