1 ¶ Pablo, apóstol, no de los hombres ni por hombre, sino por Jesús, el Cristo, y Dios el Padre, que lo resucitó de los muertos,

Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead),

2 y todos los hermanos que están conmigo, a las Iglesias de Galacia:

and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia:

3 G racia sea a vosotros, y paz de Dios el Padre, y del Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo,

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,

4 E l cual se dio a sí mismo por nuestros pecados para librarnos de este presente siglo malo, conforme a la voluntad del Dios y Padre nuestro,

who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

5 a l cual es la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Only One Gospel

6 ¶ Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto os hayáis traspasado del que os llamó en la gracia de Cristo, a otro evangelio;

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,

7 a unque no hay otro, sino que hay algunos que os inquietan, y quieren pervertir el Evangelio del Cristo.

which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 M as aun si nosotros o un ángel del cielo os anunciare otro Evangelio del que os hemos anunciado, sea anatema.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

9 C omo antes hemos dicho, también ahora lo decimos otra vez: Si alguno os anunciare otro Evangelio del que habéis recibido, sea anatema.

As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

10 ¶ Porque, ¿persuado yo ahora a hombres o a Dios? ¿O busco agradar a los hombres? Cierto, que si todavía agradara a los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.

For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. Call to Apostleship

11 M as os hago saber, hermanos, que el Evangelio que ha sido anunciado por mí, no es según hombre;

But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.

12 n i yo lo recibí, ni aprendí de hombre, sino por revelación de Jesús, el Cristo.

For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

13 P orque ya habéis oído acerca de mi conducta en otro tiempo en el judaísmo, que perseguía sobremanera la Iglesia de Dios, y la destruía;

For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it.

14 y aprovechaba en el Judaísmo sobre muchos de mis iguales en mi nación, siendo mucho más celoso que todos de las tradiciones de mis padres.

And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

15 M as cuando quiso Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia,

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,

16 r evelar a su Hijo en mí, para que le predicara entre los gentiles, luego no consulté con carne y sangre;

to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,

17 n i fui a Jerusalén a los que eran apóstoles antes que yo; sino que me fui a Arabia, y volví de nuevo a Damasco.

nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus. Contacts at Jerusalem

18 D espués, pasados tres años, fui a Jerusalén a ver a Pedro, y estuve con él quince días.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and remained with him fifteen days.

19 M as a ningún otro de los apóstoles vi, sino a Jacobo, el hermano del Señor.

But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.

20 Y en esto que os escribo, he aquí delante de Dios, que no miento.

(Now concerning the things which I write to you, indeed, before God, I do not lie.)

21 D espués fui a las partes de Siria y de Cilicia;

Afterward I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

22 y no era conocido de vista a las Iglesias de Judea, que eran en el Cristo;

And I was unknown by face to the churches of Judea which were in Christ.

23 s olamente habían oído decir: Aquel que en otro tiempo nos perseguía, ahora anuncia la fe que en otro tiempo destruía.

But they were hearing only, “He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”

24 Y glorificaban a Dios por mí.

And they glorified God in me.
