1 Y me mostró a Josué, el sumo sacerdote, el cual estaba delante del ángel del SEÑOR; y Satanás estaba a su mano derecha para serle adversario.

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.

2 Y dijo el SEÑOR a Satanás: El SEÑOR te reprenda, oh Satanás; el SEÑOR, que ha escogido a Jerusalén, te reprenda. ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del incendio?

And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

3 Y Josué estaba vestido de vestimentas viles, y estaba delante del ángel.

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

4 Y habló el ángel, e intimó a los que estaban delante de sí, diciendo: Quitadle esas vestimentas viles. Y a él dijo: Mira que he hecho pasar tu iniquidad de ti, y te he hecho vestir de ropas nuevas.

Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”

5 Y dije: Pongan mitra limpia sobre su cabeza. Y pusieron una mitra limpia sobre su cabeza, y le vistieron de ropas. Y el ángel del SEÑOR estaba en pie.

And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by. The Coming Branch

6 Y el ángel del SEÑOR protestó al mismo Josué, diciendo:

Then the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,

7 A sí dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos: Si anduvieres por mis caminos, y si guardares mi ordenanza, también tú gobernarás mi Casa, también tú guardarás mis atrios, y entre éstos que aquí están te daré plaza.

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here.

8 E scucha pues, ahora, Josué sumo sacerdote, tú, y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti; porque son varones de prodigio. He aquí, yo traigo a mi siervo, el Renuevo.

‘Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.

9 P orque he aquí aquella Piedra que puse delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos; he aquí, yo esculpiré su labor, dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, y quitaré la iniquidad de la tierra en un día.

For behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 E n aquel día, dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros llamará a su compañero debajo de su vid, y debajo de su higuera.

In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.’”
