1 O God, give the king thy judgments, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

Ó Deus, dá ao rei os teus juízes, e a tua justiça ao filho do rei.

2 H e will judge thy people with righteousness, and thine afflicted with judgment.

Julgue ele o teu povo com justiça, e os teus pobres com eqüidade.

3 T he mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, by righteousness.

Que os montes tragam paz ao povo, como também os outeiros, com justiça.

4 H e will do justice to the afflicted of the people; he will save the children of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor.

Julgue ele os aflitos do povo, salve os filhos do necessitado, e esmague o opressor.

5 T hey shall fear thee as long as sun and moon endure, from generation to generation.

Viva ele enquanto existir o sol, e enquanto durar a lua, por todas as gerações.

6 H e shall come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.

Desça como a chuva sobre o prado, como os chuveiros que regam a terra.

7 I n his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace till the moon be no more.

Nos seus dias floreça a justiça, e haja abundância de paz enquanto durar a lua.

8 A nd he shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Domine de mar a mar, e desde o Rio até as extremidades da terra.

9 T he dwellers in the desert shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.

Inclinem-se diante dele os seus adversários, e os seus inimigos lambam o pó.

10 T he kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer tribute:

Paguem-lhe tributo os reis de Társis e das ilhas; os reis de Sabá e de Seba ofereçam-lhe dons.

11 Y ea, all kings shall bow down before him; all nations shall serve him.

Todos os reis se prostrem perante ele; todas as nações o sirvam.

12 F or he will deliver the needy who crieth, and the afflicted, who hath no helper;

Porque ele livra ao necessitado quando clama, como também ao aflito e ao que não tem quem o ajude.

13 H e will have compassion on the poor and needy, and will save the souls of the needy:

Compadece-se do pobre e do necessitado, e a vida dos necessitados ele salva.

14 H e will redeem their souls from oppression and violence, and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

Ele os liberta da opressão e da violência, e precioso aos seus olhos é o sangue deles.

15 A nd he shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba; and prayer shall be made for him continually: all the day shall he be blessed.

Viva, pois, ele; e se lhe dê do ouro de Sabá; e continuamente se faça por ele oração, e o bendigam em todo o tempo.

16 T here shall be abundance of corn in the earth, upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon; and they of the city shall bloom like the herb of the earth.

Haja abundância de trigo na terra sobre os cumes dos montes; ondule o seu fruto como o Líbano, e das cidades floresçam homens como a erva da terra.

17 H is name shall endure for ever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and shall bless themselves in him; all nations shall call him blessed.

Permaneça o seu nome eternamente; continue a sua fama enquanto o sol durar, e os homens sejam abençoados nele; todas as nações o chamem bem-aventurado.

18 B lessed be Jehovah Elohim, the God of Israel, who alone doeth wondrous things!

Bendito seja o Senhor Deus, o Deus de Israel, o único que faz maravilhas.

19 A nd blessed be his glorious name for ever! and let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen, and Amen.

Bendito seja para sempre o seu nome glorioso, e encha-se da sua glória toda a terra. Amém e amém.
