For Jehovah, the Most High, is terrible, a great king over all the earth.

He subdueth the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.

4 E scolheu para nós a nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, a quem amou.

He hath chosen our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 D eus subiu entre aplausos, o Senhor subiu ao som de trombeta.

God is gone up amid shouting, Jehovah amid the sound of the trumpet.

6 C antai louvores a Deus, cantai louvores; cantai louvores ao nosso Rei, cantai louvores.

Sing psalms of God, sing psalms; sing psalms unto our King, sing psalms!

7 P ois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra; cantai louvores com salmo.

For God is the King of all the earth; sing psalms with understanding.

8 D eus reina sobre as nações; Deus está sentado sobre o seu santo trono.

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

9 O s príncipes dos povos se reúnem como povo do Deus de Abraão, porque a Deus pertencem os escudos da terra; ele é sumamente exaltado.

The willing-hearted of the peoples have gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For unto God the shields of the earth: he is greatly exalted.
