1 P ueblos todos, batid las manos; aclamad a Dios con voz de júbilo.

All ye peoples, clap your hands; shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

2 P orque el SEÑOR es Sublime y temible; Rey grande sobre toda la tierra.

For Jehovah, the Most High, is terrible, a great king over all the earth.

3 E l guiará a los pueblos debajo de nosotros, y a los gentiles debajo de nuestros pies.

He subdueth the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.

4 E l nos elegirá nuestras heredades; la hermosura de Jacob, al cual amó. (Selah.)

He hath chosen our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 ¶ Subió Dios con júbilo, el SEÑOR con voz de trompeta.

God is gone up amid shouting, Jehovah amid the sound of the trumpet.

6 C antad a Dios, cantad; cantad a nuestro Rey, cantad.

Sing psalms of God, sing psalms; sing psalms unto our King, sing psalms!

7 P orque el Rey de toda la tierra es Dios; cantad con entendimiento.

For God is the King of all the earth; sing psalms with understanding.

8 R einó Dios sobre los gentiles; se sentó Dios sobre el trono de su santidad.

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

9 L os príncipes de los pueblos se juntaron al pueblo del Dios de Abraham; porque de Dios son los escudos de la tierra; El es muy ensalzado.

The willing-hearted of the peoples have gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For unto God the shields of the earth: he is greatly exalted.
