1 ¶ Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2 H abla a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: La mujer cuando concibiere y diere a luz varón, será inmunda siete días; conforme a los días que está separada por su menstruo, será inmunda.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the separation of her infirmity shall she be unclean.

3 Y al octavo día circuncidará la carne de su prepucio.

And on the eighth day shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised.

4 M as ella permanecerá treinta y tres días en la sangre de su purificación; ninguna cosa santa tocará, ni vendrá al santuario, hasta que sean cumplidos los días de su purificación.

And she shall continue thirty-three days in the blood of her cleansing; no holy thing shall she touch, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her cleansing are fulfilled.

5 Y si diere a luz hembra será inmunda dos semanas, conforme a su separación, y sesenta y seis días estará purificándose de su sangre.

And if she bear a female, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation; and she shall continue sixty-six days in the blood of her cleansing.

6 ¶ Y cuando los días de su purificación fueren cumplidos, por hijo o por hija, traerá un cordero de un año como holocausto, y un palomino o una tórtola como el pecado, a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, al sacerdote;

And when the days of her cleansing are fulfilled, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a yearling lamb for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest.

7 y lo ofrecerá delante del SEÑOR, y la reconciliará, y será limpia del flujo de su sangre. Esta es la ley de la que diere a luz varón o hembra.

And he shall present it before Jehovah, and make atonement for her; and she shall be clean from the flux of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female.

8 Y si no tiene lo suficiente para un cordero, tomará entonces dos tórtolas o dos palominos, uno como holocausto, y otro como el pecado; y la reconciliará el sacerdote, y será limpia.

And if her hand cannot find what is sufficient for a sheep, she shall bring two turtle-doves or two young pigeons; one for a burnt-offering, and the other for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her; and she shall be clean.
