1 ¶ Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, después que murieron los dos hijos de Aarón, cuando se acercaron delante del SEÑOR, y murieron;

And Jehovah spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came near before Jehovah and died;

2 y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón tu hermano, que no entre en todo tiempo en el santuario del velo adentro, delante del asiento de la reconciliación que está sobre el arca, para que no muera; porque yo apareceré en la nube sobre el asiento de la reconciliación.

and Jehovah said to Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the sanctuary inside the veil before the mercy-seat which is upon the ark, that he die not; for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy-seat.

3 C on esto entrará Aarón en el santuario: con un novillo como el pecado, y un carnero como holocausto.

In this manner shall Aaron come into the sanctuary: with a young bullock for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering.

4 L a túnica santa de lino se vestirá, y sobre su carne tendrá calzoncillos de lino, y se ceñirá el cinto de lino; y con la mitra de lino se cubrirá. Son santos vestidos; y lavará su carne con agua, y las vestirá.

A holy linen vest shall he put on, and linen trousers shall be upon his flesh, and he shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and put them on.

5 ¶ Y de la congregación de los hijos de Israel tomará dos machos cabríos como el pecado, y un carnero como holocausto.

And of the assembly of the children of Israel shall he take two bucks of the goats for a sin-offering, and one ram for a burnt-offering.

6 Y hará traer Aarón el novillo de su pecado, que era suyo, y hará la reconciliación por sí y por su casa.

And Aaron shall present the bullock of the sin-offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself, and for his house.

7 D espués tomará los dos machos cabríos, y los presentará delante del SEÑOR a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.

And he shall take the two goats, and set them before Jehovah, before the entrance of the tent of meeting.

8 Y echará suertes Aarón sobre los dos machos cabríos; una suerte por el SEÑOR, y la otra suerte por Azazel.

And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats: one lot for Jehovah, and the other lot for Azazel.

9 Y hará traer Aarón el macho cabrío sobre el cual cayere la suerte por el SEÑOR, y lo ofrecerá como el pecado.

And Aaron shall present the goat upon which the lot fell for Jehovah, and offer it a sin-offering.

10 M as el macho cabrío, sobre el cual cayere la suerte por Azazel, lo presentará vivo delante del SEÑOR, para hacer la reconciliación sobre él, para enviarlo a Azazel al desierto.

And the goat upon which the lot fell for Azazel shall be set alive before Jehovah, to make atonement with it, to send it away as Azazel into the wilderness.

11 Y hará llegar Aarón el novillo de su propio pecado, y hará la reconciliación por sí y por su casa, y degollará el novillo de su pecado.

And Aaron shall present the bullock of the sin-offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall slaughter the bullock of the sin-offering which is for himself.

12 D espués tomará el incensario lleno de brasas de fuego, del altar de delante del SEÑOR, y sus puños llenos del incienso aromático molido, y lo llevará detrás del velo adentro.

And he shall take the censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before Jehovah, and both his hands full of fragrant incense beaten small, and bring it inside the veil.

13 Y pondrá el incienso sobre el fuego delante del SEÑOR, y la nube del incienso cubrirá el asiento de la reconciliación que está sobre el testimonio, y no morirá.

And he shall put the incense upon the fire before Jehovah, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy-seat which is upon the testimony, that he die not.

14 T omará luego de la sangre del novillo, y rociará con su dedo hacia el asiento de la reconciliación hacia el oriente; hacia el asiento de la reconciliación esparcirá de aquella sangre siete veces con su dedo.

And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle with his finger upon the front of the mercy-seat eastward; and before the mercy-seat shall he sprinkle of the blood seven times with his finger.

15 ¶ Después degollará el macho cabrío del pecado del pueblo y meterá la sangre de él del velo adentro; y hará de su sangre, como hizo de la sangre del novillo, y esparcirá sobre el asiento de la reconciliación y delante del asiento de la reconciliación;

And he shall slaughter the goat of the sin-offering, which is for the people, and bring its blood inside the veil, and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy-seat, and before the mercy-seat;

16 y limpiará el santuario, de las inmundicias de los hijos de Israel, y de sus rebeliones, y de todos sus pecados: de la misma manera hará también al tabernáculo del testimonio, el cual mora entre ellos, en medio de sus inmundicias.

and he shall make atonement for the sanctuary, from the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and from their transgressions in all their sins; and so shall he do for the tent of meeting which dwelleth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

17 Y ningún hombre estará en el tabernáculo del testimonio cuando él entrare a hacer la reconciliación en el santuario, hasta que él salga, y haya hecho la reconciliación por sí, y por su casa, y por toda la congregación de Israel.

And there shall be no man in the tent of meeting when he goeth in to make atonement in the sanctuary until he come out; and he shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and for the whole congregation of Israel.

18 Y saldrá al altar que está delante del SEÑOR, y lo reconciliará; y tomará de la sangre del novillo, y de la sangre del macho cabrío, y pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar alrededor.

And he shall go out unto the altar which is before Jehovah, and make atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about;

19 Y esparcirá sobre él de la sangre con su dedo siete veces, y lo limpiará, y lo santificará de las inmundicias de los hijos de Israel.

and he shall sprinkle upon it of the blood with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleannesses of the children of Israel.

20 ¶ Y cuando hubiere acabado de reconciliar el santuario, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y el altar, hará traer el macho cabrío vivo;

And when he hath ended making atonement for the sanctuary, and the tent of meeting, and the altar, he shall present the living goat;

21 y pondrá Aarón sus dos manos sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío vivo, y confesará sobre él todas las iniquidades de los hijos de Israel, y todas sus rebeliones, y todos sus pecados, poniéndolos así sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío, y lo enviará al desierto por mano de algún varón aparejado para esto.

and Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the living goat, and confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away to the wilderness by the hand of a man standing ready;

22 Y aquel macho cabrío llevará sobre sí todas las iniquidades de ellos a tierra inhabitable; y enviará el macho cabrío al desierto.

that the goat may bear upon him all their iniquities to a land apart; and he shall send away the goat into the wilderness.

23 D espués vendrá Aarón al tabernáculo del testimonio, y se desnudará las vestimentas de lino, que había vestido para entrar en el santuario, y las pondrá allí.

And Aaron shall go into the tent of meeting, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the sanctuary, and shall leave them there;

24 L avará luego su carne con agua en el lugar santo, y pondrá sus vestidos; después saldrá, y hará su holocausto, y el holocausto del pueblo, y hará la reconciliación por sí y por el pueblo.

and he shall bathe his flesh with water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and go forth, and offer his burnt-offering, and the burnt-offering of the people, and make atonement for himself, and for the people.

25 Y del sebo del pecado hará perfume sobre el altar.

And the fat of the sin-offering shall he burn upon the altar.

26 Y el que hubiere llevado el macho cabrío a Azazel, lavará sus vestidos, lavará también con agua su carne, y después entrará en el campamento.

And he that letteth go the goat for Azazel shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water; and afterwards he may come into the camp.

27 Y sacará fuera del campamento el novillo del pecado, y el macho cabrío del pecado, la sangre de los cuales fue metida para hacer la reconciliación en el santuario; y quemarán en el fuego sus pellejos, y sus carnes, y su estiércol.

And the bullock of the sin-offering, and the goat of the sin-offering whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the sanctuary, shall one carry forth outside the camp; and they shall burn with fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.

28 Y el que los quemare, lavará sus vestidos, lavará también su carne con agua, y después entrará en el campamento.

And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water; and afterwards he may come into the camp.

29 ¶ Esto tendréis por estatuto perpetuo: En el mes séptimo, a los diez del mes, afligiréis vuestras almas, y ninguna obra haréis, ni el natural ni el extranjero que peregrina entre vosotros.

And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you. In the seventh month, on the tenth of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, the home-born, and the stranger that sojourneth among you;

30 P orque en este día se os reconciliará para limpiaros; y seréis limpios de todos vuestros pecados delante del SEÑOR.

for on that day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you: from all your sins shall ye be clean before Jehovah.

31 S ábado de reposo será para vosotros, y afligiréis vuestras almas, por estatuto perpetuo.

A sabbath of rest shall it be unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls: an everlasting statute.

32 Y hará la reconciliación el sacerdote que fuere ungido, y cuya mano hubiere sido llena para ser sacerdote en lugar de su padre; y se vestirá los vestidos de lino, los vestidos santos;

And the priest who hath been anointed, and who hath been consecrated, to exercise the priesthood in his father's stead, shall make atonement; and he shall put on the linen garments, the holy garments.

33 y reconciliará el santuario santo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio; reconciliará también el altar, y a los sacerdotes, y a todo el pueblo de la congregación.

And he shall make atonement for the holy sanctuary; and for the tent of meeting, and for the altar shall he make atonement; and for the priests, and for the whole people of the congregation shall he make atonement.

34 Y esto tendréis por estatuto perpetuo, para reconciliar a los hijos de Israel de todos sus pecados una vez en el año. Y Moisés lo hizo como el SEÑOR le mandó.

And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make atonement for the children of Israel from all their sins once a year. And he did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
