All ye peoples, clap your hands; shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

2 P ois o Senhor Altíssimo é temível, é o grande Rei sobre toda a terra!

For Jehovah, the Most High, is terrible, a great king over all the earth.

3 E le subjugou as nações ao nosso poder, os povos colocou debaixo de nossos pés,

He subdueth the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.

4 e escolheu para nós a nossa herança, o orgulho de Jacó, a quem amou. Pausa

He hath chosen our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5 D eus subiu em meio a gritos de alegria; o Senhor, em meio ao som de trombetas.

God is gone up amid shouting, Jehovah amid the sound of the trumpet.

6 O fereçam música a Deus, cantem louvores! Ofereçam música ao nosso Rei, cantem louvores!

Sing psalms of God, sing psalms; sing psalms unto our King, sing psalms!

7 P ois Deus é o rei de toda a terra; cantem louvores com harmonia e arte.

For God is the King of all the earth; sing psalms with understanding.

8 D eus reina sobre as nações; Deus está assentado em seu santo trono.

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

9 O s soberanos das nações se juntam ao povo do Deus de Abraão, pois os governantes da terra pertencem a Deus; ele é soberanamente exaltado.

The willing-hearted of the peoples have gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For unto God the shields of the earth: he is greatly exalted.
