1 ¡ Cuán amables son tus moradas, Jehová de los ejércitos!

How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

2 ¡ Anhela mi alma y aun ardientemente desea los atrios de Jehová! ¡Mi corazón y mi carne cantan al Dios vivo!

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

3 A un el gorrión halla casa, y la golondrina nido para sí, donde poner sus polluelos, cerca de tus altares, Jehová de los ejércitos, Rey mío y Dios mío.

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

4 ¡ Bienaventurados los que habitan en tu Casa; perpetuamente te alabarán! Selah

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

5 ¡ Bienaventurado el hombre que tiene en ti sus fuerzas, en cuyo corazón están tus caminos!

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

6 A travesando el valle de lágrimas, lo cambian en fuente cuando la lluvia llena los estanques.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7 I rán de poder en poder; verán a Dios en Sión.

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

8 J ehová, Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración; ¡escucha, Dios de Jacob! Selah

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9 M ira, Dios, escudo nuestro, y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu elegido.

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10 M ejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos. Escogería antes estar a la puerta de la casa de mi Dios que habitar donde reside la maldad,

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 p orque sol y escudo es Jehová Dios; gracia y gloria dará Jehová. No quitará el bien a los que andan en integridad.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 ¡ Jehová de los ejércitos, bienaventurado el hombre que en ti confía!

O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
