1 D ios se levanta en la reunión de los dioses; en medio de los dioses juzga.

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2 ¿ Hasta cuándo juzgaréis injustamente y haréis acepción de personas con los impíos? Selah

How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3 D efended al débil y al huérfano; haced justicia al afligido y al menesteroso,

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4 l ibrad al afligido y al necesitado; ¡libradlo de manos de los impíos!

Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 N o saben, no entienden, andan en tinieblas; tiemblan todos los cimientos de la tierra.

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6 Y o dije: «Vosotros sois dioses y todos vosotros hijos del Altísimo;

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7 p ero como hombres moriréis, y como cualquiera de los príncipes caeréis.»

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 ¡ Levántate, Dios, juzga la tierra, porque tú heredarás todas las naciones!

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
