1 C antad a Jehová un cántico nuevo; su alabanza sea en la congregación de los santos.

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 A légrese Israel en su Hacedor; los hijos de Sión se gocen en su Rey.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 A laben su nombre con danza; con pandero y arpa a él canten,

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 p orque Jehová tiene contentamiento en su pueblo; hermoseará a los humildes con la salvación.

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

5 R egocíjense los santos por su gloria y canten aun sobre sus camas.

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 E xalten a Dios con sus gargantas y con espadas de dos filos en sus manos,

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7 p ara ejecutar venganza entre las naciones, castigo entre los pueblos;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8 p ara aprisionar a sus reyes con grillos y a sus nobles con cadenas de hierro;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 p ara ejecutar en ellos el juicio decretado. Gloria será esto para todos sus santos. ¡Aleluya!

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
