1 D ios es nuestro amparo y fortaleza, nuestro pronto auxilio en las tribulaciones.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 P or tanto, no temeremos, aunque la tierra sea removida y se traspasen los montes al corazón del mar;

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 a unque bramen y se turben sus aguas, y tiemblen los montes a causa de su braveza. Selah

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 D el río sus corrientes alegran la ciudad de Dios, el santuario de las moradas del Altísimo.

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 D ios está en medio de ella; no será conmovida. Dios la ayudará al clarear la mañana.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 B ramaron las naciones, titubearon los reinos; dio él su voz y se derritió la tierra.

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 ¡ Jehová de los ejércitos está con nosotros! ¡Nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob! Selah

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 V enid, ved las obras de Jehová, que ha hecho portentos en la tierra,

Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 q ue hace cesar las guerras hasta los fines de la tierra, que quiebra el arco, corta la lanza y quema los carros en el fuego.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 « Estad quietos y conoced que yo soy Dios; seré exaltado entre las naciones; enaltecido seré en la tierra.»

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
