1 G racias te damos, Dios, gracias te damos, pues cercano está tu nombre; los hombres cuentan tus maravillas.

¶ Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks, for that thy name is near, thy wondrous works declare.

2 E n el tiempo que yo decida, juzgaré rectamente.

When I shall receive the congregation, I will judge uprightly.

3 S e arruinaban la tierra y sus moradores; yo sostengo sus columnas. Selah

The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I bore up the pillars of it. Selah.

4 D ije a los insensatos: «¡No os jactéis!»; y a los impíos: «¡No os enorgullezcáis;

I said unto the fools, Do not deal foolishly and to the wicked, Do not lift up the horn:

5 n o hagáis alarde de vuestro poder; no habléis con cerviz erguida!»,

Do not lift up your horn on high; speak not with a stiff neck.

6 p orque ni de oriente ni de occidente ni del desierto viene el enaltecimiento,

¶ For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert.

7 p ues Dios es el juez; a éste humilla, y a aquél enaltece.

But God is the judge; he puts down one and sets up another.

8 L a copa está en la mano de Jehová; el vino está fermentado, lleno de mixtura, y él lo derrama; ¡hasta el fondo lo apurarán y lo beberán todos los impíos de la tierra!

For the cup is in the hand of the LORD, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he pours out of the same; yea, the dregs thereof, shall wring out and swallow up all the wicked of the earth.

9 P ero yo siempre anunciaré y cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 Q uebrantaré todo el poderío de los pecadores, pero el poder del justo será exaltado.

And I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
