1 L a mano de Jehová vino sobre mí, me llevó en el espíritu de Jehová y me puso en medio de un valle que estaba lleno de huesos.

¶ And the hand of the LORD was upon me and took me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the midst of a field which was full of bones,

2 M e hizo pasar cerca de ellos, a su alrededor, y vi que eran muchísimos sobre la faz del campo y, por cierto, secos en gran manera.

and caused me to pass by them round about; and, behold, there were very many upon the face of the field; and they were very dry.

3 Y me dijo: —Hijo de hombre, ¿vivirán estos huesos? Yo le respondí: —Señor, Jehová, tú lo sabes.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

4 M e dijo entonces: —Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: “¡Huesos secos, oíd palabra de Jehová!

Then he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones hear the word of the LORD.

5 A sí ha dicho Jehová, el Señor, a estos huesos: Yo hago entrar espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis.

Thus hath the Lord GOD said unto these bones: Behold, I will cause spirit to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 P ondré tendones en vosotros, haré que la carne suba sobre vosotros, os cubriré de piel y pondré en vosotros espíritu, y viviréis. Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.”

And I will lay nerves upon you and will bring up flesh upon you and cover you with skin and put spirit in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

7 P rofeticé, pues, como me fue mandado; y mientras yo profetizaba se oyó un estruendo, hubo un temblor ¡y los huesos se juntaron, cada hueso con su hueso!

So I prophesied as I was commanded, and as I prophesied, there was a thunder, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 Y o miré, y los tendones sobre ellos, y subió la carne y quedaron cubiertos por la piel; pero no había en ellos espíritu.

And I beheld, and behold nerves upon them and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no spirit in them.

9 M e dijo: «Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di al espíritu que así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: “¡Espíritu, ven de los cuatro vientos y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán!”»

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the spirit, prophesy, son of man, and say to the spirit, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Come from the four winds, O spirit, and breathe upon these slain, and they shall live.

10 P rofeticé como me había mandado, y entró espíritu en ellos, y vivieron y se pusieron en pie. ¡Era un ejército grande en extremo!

And I prophesied as he commanded me, and the spirit entered into them, and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 L uego me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, todos estos huesos son la casa de Israel. Ellos dicen: “Nuestros huesos se secaron y pereció nuestra esperanza. ¡Estamos totalmente destruidos!”

Then he said unto me, Son of man, all these bones are the house of Israel; behold, they say, Our bones have dried, and our hope is lost, and in ourselves we are totally cut off.

12 P or tanto, profetiza, y diles que así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Yo abro vuestros sepulcros, pueblo mío; os haré subir de vuestras sepulturas y os traeré a la tierra de Israel.

Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Behold, O my people, I open your graves and will cause you to come up out of your graves and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, cuando abra vuestros sepulcros y os saque de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío.

And ye shall know that I am the LORD when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves

14 P ondré mi espíritu en vosotros y viviréis, y os estableceré en vuestra tierra. Y sabréis que yo, Jehová, lo dije y lo hice, dice Jehová.» La reunión de Judá e Israel

and shall put my Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall cause you to rest upon your own land; then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it and performed it, said the LORD.

15 V ino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

¶ And the word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

16 « Hijo de hombre, toma ahora un leño y escribe en él: “Para Judá y para sus compañeros los hijos de Israel.” Toma después otro leño y escribe en él: “Para José, leño de Efraín, y para sus compañeros la casa toda de Israel.”

Thou, son of man, take one stick and write upon it: To Judah, and to the sons of Israel his companions; then take another stick and write upon it: To Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and to all the house of Israel his companions:

17 J úntalos luego el uno con el otro, para que sean uno solo, y serán uno solo en tu mano.

and join them one to another that they might become one; and they shall be one in thy hand.

18 Y cuando te pregunten los hijos de tu pueblo, diciendo: “¿No nos enseñarás qué te propones con eso?”,

And when the sons of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not show us what thou meanest by these?

19 d iles: “Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Yo tomo el leño de José que está en la mano de Efraín, y a las tribus de Israel sus compañeros, y los pondré con el leño de Judá; haré de ellos un solo leño, y serán uno en mi mano.”

Say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Behold, I take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.

20 Y los leños sobre los que escribas, estarán en tu mano delante de sus ojos,

And the sticks upon which thou dost write shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21 y les dirás: “Así ha dicho Jehová, el Señor: Yo tomo a los hijos de Israel de entre las naciones a las cuales fueron; los recogeré de todas partes y los traeré a su tierra.

And thou shalt say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said; Behold, I take the sons of Israel from among the Gentiles, where they be gone and will gather them on every side and bring them into their own land;

22 H aré de ellos una sola nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel, y un mismo rey será el rey de todos ellos. Nunca más estarán divididos en dos reinos.

and I will make them one nation in the land in the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall no longer be two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

23 N o se contaminarán ya más con sus ídolos, con sus abominaciones y con todas sus rebeliones. Los salvaré de todas sus rebeliones con las cuales pecaron, y los purificaré. Ellos serán mi pueblo y yo seré su Dios.

neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their abominations, nor with all their rebellions, but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, in which they have sinned and will cleanse them, so they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

24 » ”Mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos, y todos ellos tendrán un solo pastor; andarán en mis preceptos, y guardarán mis estatutos y los pondrán por obra.

And David my slave shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd; they shall also walk within my rights and keep my statutes and do them.

25 H abitarán en la tierra que di a mi siervo Jacob, en la cual habitaron vuestros padres. En ella habitarán ellos, sus hijos y los hijos de sus hijos para siempre; y mi siervo David los gobernará para siempre.

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my slave, in which your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they and their sons and their son’s sons for ever; and my slave David shall be their prince for ever.

26 H aré con ellos un pacto de paz; un pacto perpetuo será con ellos. Yo los estableceré y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will plant them and multiply them and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27 E stará en medio de ellos mi tabernáculo; yo seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán mi pueblo.

And my tabernacle shall be in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 Y sabrán las naciones que yo, Jehová, santifico a Israel, pues mi santuario estará en medio de ellos para siempre.”»

And the Gentiles shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
