1 B ienaventurado el varón que no anduvo en consejo de malos, ni estuvo en camino de pecadores, ni se sentó en silla de burladores;

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

2 a ntes en la ley del SEÑOR es su voluntad, y en su ley pensará de día y de noche.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.

3 Y será como el árbol plantado junto a arroyos de aguas, que da su fruto en su tiempo; y su hoja no cae, y todo lo que hace, prosperará.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

4 ¶ No así los malos, que son como el tamo que arrebata el viento.

The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.

5 P or tanto no se levantarán los malos en el juicio; ni los pecadores en la congregación de los justos.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 P orque el SEÑOR conoce el camino de los justos; y el camino de los malos se perderá.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.
