1 A nd of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made finely wrought garments, for ministering in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Poi, con le stoffe tinte di violaceo, porporino e scarlatto, fecero dei paramenti cerimoniali ben lavorati per le funzioni nel santuario e fecero i paramenti sacri per Aaronne, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

2 A nd he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

Si fece l’efod, d’oro, di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto e di lino fino ritorto.

3 A nd they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, the work of the skilful workman.

Batterono l’oro in lamine e lo tagliarono a fili, per intesserlo nella stoffa violacea, porporina, scarlatta e nel lino fino per farne un lavoro artistico.

4 T hey made shoulder-pieces for it, joined together; at the two ends was it joined together.

Gli fecero delle spalline, unite insieme; in tal modo l’efod era tenuto insieme mediante le sue due estremità.

5 A nd the skilfully woven band, that was upon it, wherewith to gird it on, was of the same piece and like the work thereof; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

La cintura artistica che era sull’efod, per fissarlo, era tutta d’un pezzo con l’efod e del medesimo lavoro di esso: cioè, d’oro, di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto e di lino fino ritorto, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

6 A nd they wrought the onyx stones, inclosed in settings of gold, graven with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the children of Israel.

Poi lavorarono le pietre d’ònice, incastonate in montature d’oro, sulle quali incisero i nomi dei figli d’Israele, come si incidono i sigilli.

7 A nd he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

E fissarono le pietre sulle spalline dell’efod, per ricordare i figli d’Israele, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

8 A nd he made the breastplate, the work of the skilful workman, like the work of the ephod; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

Poi si fece il pettorale artisticamente lavorato, come il lavoro dell’efod: d’oro, di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto e di lino fino ritorto.

9 I t was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being double.

Il pettorale era quadrato; lo fecero doppio; aveva la lunghezza di una spanna e una spanna di larghezza; era doppio.

10 A nd they set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle was the first row;

E vi incastonarono quattro file di pietre; nella prima fila c’era un sardonio, un topazio e uno smeraldo;

11 a nd the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;

nella seconda fila, un rubino, uno zaffiro e un calcedonio;

12 a nd the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;

nella terza fila, un’opale, un’agata e un’ametista;

13 a nd the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jaspar: they were inclosed in inclosings of gold in their settings.

nella quarta fila, un crisolito, un ònice e un diaspro. Queste pietre erano incastonate nelle loro montature d’oro.

14 A nd the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, every one according to his name, for the twelve tribes.

Le pietre corrispondevano ai nomi dei figli d’Israele, ed erano dodici, secondo i loro nomi; erano incise come dei sigilli, ciascuna con il nome di una delle dodici tribù.

15 A nd they made upon the breastplate chains like cords, of wreathen work of pure gold.

Fecero pure sul pettorale delle catenelle d’oro puro, intrecciate come dei cordoni.

16 A nd they made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

Fecero due montature d’oro e due anelli d’oro, e misero i due anelli alle due estremità del pettorale.

17 A nd they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.

Fissarono i due cordoni d’oro ai due anelli alle estremità del pettorale;

18 A nd the other two ends of the two wreathen chains they put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, in the forepart thereof.

e attaccarono gli altri due capi dei due cordoni d’oro alle due montature, e li misero sulle due spalline dell’efod, sul davanti.

19 A nd they made two rings of gold, and put them upon the two ends of the breastplate, upon the edge thereof, which was toward the side of the ephod inward.

Fecero anche due anelli d’oro e li misero alle altre due estremità del pettorale, sull’orlo interno volto verso l’efod.

20 A nd they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, in the forepart thereof, close by the coupling thereof, above the skilfully woven band of the ephod.

Fecero due altri anelli d’oro e li misero alle due spalline dell’efod, in basso, sul davanti, vicino al punto dove avveniva la giuntura, al di sopra della cintura artistica dell’efod.

21 A nd they did bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be upon the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Attaccarono il pettorale mediante i suoi anelli agli anelli dell’efod con un cordone violaceo, affinché il pettorale fosse al disopra della banda artisticamente lavorata dell’efod, e non si potesse staccare dall’efod, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

22 A nd he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

Si fece pure il manto dell’efod, in lavoro di tessitura, tutto di color violaceo,

23 A nd the hole of the robe in the midst thereof, as the hole of a coat of mail, with a binding round about the hole of it, that it should not be rent.

e l’apertura in mezzo al manto per farvi passare la testa: apertura, come quella di una corazza, con un’orlatura tessuta intorno, perché non si strappasse.

24 A nd they made upon the skirts of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

E all’orlo inferiore del manto fecero delle melagrane di color violaceo, porporino e scarlatto, di filo ritorto.

25 A nd they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the skirts of the robe round about, between the pomegranates;

E fecero dei sonagli d’oro puro e posero i sonagli in mezzo alle melagrane all’orlo inferiore del manto, tutto intorno, fra le melagrane:

26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, upon the skirts of the robe round about, to minister in; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

un sonaglio e una melagrana, un sonaglio e una melagrana, sull’orlatura del manto, tutto intorno, per fare il servizio, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

27 A nd they made the coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,

Si fecero pure le tuniche di lino fino, in lavoro di tessitura, per Aaronne e per i suoi figli;

28 a nd the mitre of fine linen, and the goodly head-tires of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twined linen,

il turbante di lino fino, gli ornamenti delle mitre di lino fino, le mutande di lino fino ritorto

29 a nd the girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, the work of the embroiderer; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

e la cintura ricamata di lino fino ritorto, di color violaceo, porporino, scarlatto, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

30 A nd they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like the engravings of a signet, HOLY TO JEHOVAH.

Fecero d’oro puro la lamina del sacro diadema e vi incisero, come si incide sopra un sigillo: Santo al Signore.

31 A nd they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it upon the mitre above; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Vi attaccarono un nastro violaceo per fermarla sul turbante, in alto, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

32 T hus was finished all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting: and the children of Israel did according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses; so did they.

Così fu finito tutto il lavoro del tabernacolo e della tenda di convegno. I figli d’Israele fecero interamente come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè; fecero a quel modo.

33 A nd they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the Tent, and all its furniture, its clasps, its boards, it bars, and its pillars, and it sockets;

Poi portarono a Mosè il tabernacolo, la tenda e tutti i suoi utensili, i suoi fermagli, le sue tavole, le sue traverse, le sue colonne, le sue basi;

34 a nd the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of sealskins, and the veil of the screen;

la coperta di pelli di montone tinte di rosso, la coperta di pelli di delfino, e il velo di separazione;

35 t he ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy-seat;

l’arca della testimonianza con le sue stanghe, e il propiziatorio;

36 t he table, all the vessels thereof, and the showbread;

la tavola con tutti i suoi utensili e il pane della presentazione;

37 t he pure candlestick, the lamps thereof, even the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for the light;

il candelabro d’oro puro con le sue lampade, le lampade disposte in ordine, tutti i suoi utensili e l’olio per il candelabro;

38 a nd the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the screen for the door of the Tent;

l’altare d’oro, l’olio dell’unzione, l’incenso aromatico e la portiera per l’ingresso della tenda;

39 t he brazen altar, and its grating of brass, its staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its base;

l’altare di bronzo, la sua graticola di bronzo, le sue stanghe e tutti i suoi utensili, la conca con la sua base;

40 t he hangings of the court, its pillars, and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court, the cords thereof, and the pins thereof, and all the instruments of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;

le cortine del cortile, le sue colonne, le sue basi, la portiera per l’ingresso del cortile, i cordami del cortile, i suoi pioli e tutti gli utensili per il servizio del tabernacolo, per la tenda di convegno;

41 t he finely wrought garments for ministering in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

i paramenti cerimoniali per le funzioni del santuario, i paramenti sacri per il sacerdote Aaronne e i paramenti dei suoi figli per esercitare il sacerdozio.

42 A ccording to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work.

I figli d’Israele eseguirono tutto il lavoro, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

43 A nd Moses saw all the work, and, behold, they had done it; as Jehovah had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

E Mosè vide tutto il lavoro; ed ecco, essi lo avevano eseguito come il Signore aveva ordinato; lo avevano eseguito a quel modo. E Mosè li benedisse.
