59 I ată-i şi pe cei care au plecat din Tel-Melah, din Tel-Harşa, din Cherub, din Adan şi din Imer, fără să fi putut dovedi dacă familia şi neamul lor erau din Israel sau nu:

And these are they that went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub-Addan, Immer; but they could not shew their fathers' house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.

62 E i şi-au căutat înscrierile lor genealogice, dar nu le-au găsit, astfel că au fost îndepărtaţi din preoţie ca fiind necuraţi.

These sought their genealogical register, but they were not found; therefore were they, as polluted, removed from the priesthood.

68 L a sosirea lor la Casa Domnului din Ierusalim, câteva din căpeteniile familiilor au oferit Casei lui Dumnezeu daruri de bunăvoie pentru ridicarea lui pe locul său de odinioară.

And some of the chief fathers, when they came to the house of Jehovah which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in its place.

69 A u dăruit în vistieria lucrării, după puterile lor, următoarele: şaizeci şi unu de mii de darici de aur, cinci mii de mine de argint şi o sută de tunici preoţeşti.

They gave after their ability to the treasure of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' coats.

70 A şadar, preoţii, leviţii, unii oameni din popor, cântăreţii, portarii şi slujitorii de la Templu s-au aşezat în cetăţile lor; toţi cei din Israel erau în cetăţile lor.

And the priests, and the Levites, and of the people, and the singers, and the doorkeepers, and the Nethinim dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
